Saints D played great! Dalton was fine. WR execution was horrid. Kamara just had a very surprisingly bad day. Juwan Johnson drops TD and fumble recovery (lol!). If the Saints had scored TDs on goal-to-go trips and had made that FG, they coulda won 17-13.

49ers D is just nasty! Loving the vibe of this whole team. A SB win is very doable with them playing like this. Hufanga is such a beast!

The coach and team manager seem to be comfortable to push their offense that much! Will see another version of Niner Offense when they get in playoffs!

I know it's been a short week but they have to be careful putting Garoppolo in 3rd and long situations with defences playing the run and putting 6 on the line. He can't keep taking those kind of hits and expect to stay on the field. if they cant run they will have to start rolling outside keeping on the move in some fashion. Purdy needs to be ready. Kyle will have to me more creative with his offence he can't keep running these guys into a 6 man front when they know it's coming.

This could not have been more different from the 2019 game between the Niners and the Saints which was an epic shootout.

If the 49rs coukd put up 3 or 4 tds in every game without any turnovers, they would be easily the best team in the league.

As a 49er fan I have respect for the Saints they played a good game just happy the 9ers got the win

jordan mason is a hidden gem. 49ers needed a big bruising physical runner like this. The way defenses are playing our run game this yr, not a lot of open running lanes, you need to pick a lot of tough yards. Mason is 225 pounds and btw he led the nation with the highest broken tackle % with 44% his last season at Georgia Tech.

Defense will do they thing no doubt but offense needs step up again

The Saints defense are focused on shutting down the run and taking away checkdowns. That's about 80% of Jimmy G's game.

If you watched the games you could see the difference in the play calling. having CMC or Deebo in the backfield running downhill between the tackles against a 6 man front failed against NO the same way it failed against AZ In the second half they used reverse and miss direction play,s to spread AZ defence out which they didn't do against NO. Instead Kyle continued to attempt to impose his will by running between the tackles against a stack front. often resulting in negative yards constantly putting SF in a pass only 3rd and long situation in the red zone. this allowed NO to rush only 4 flooding the passing lanes with zone coverage. this had the same effect as a coverage sack on Jimmy forcing him to check down holding till last minute with hopes someone could break coverage. regardless of defence rating i expect mast teams to post the same front against SF
