1:44 I don't remember this ?
Why did this feel like you got in trouble for animating a he-mam parody, then did it in action figures lmao!? If that's the case this is some slutsofstagrahm ish
Los diseños me gusta mucho porque respuesta el diseño de he man aunque atila no está muy musculosa
What the hell is Tom doing in a Buckees tee-shirt?
Just stickers dude if you guys got magnets and mugs and shirts all that cool s*** I would totally buy it especially the mugs
If only there was this much He-man in the Netflix adaptation.
Might I suggest giving the CGI He-Man series a try?
@Squaul DuNéant you really think I give a fuck about you or anybody else, way to go genius
@I, CATO SICARIUS Then wtach again and read again what people say dear comrade idk how you didn't get it.
@Manny_Fresh PS : You had a chance some people where really open to disuss etc ... but you choose to do nothing congrat genius.
@Manny_Fresh Imagine knowing only the words "you just don't get the big piture" lmao and repeating like a religious psalm while off course giving ZERO concret and real argument not even trying to dicuss and then still thinking you are superior than others because you go "agaisn't" the wave while you are in fact with the wave lmao. Truly pathetic . But hey keep giving us easy work by giving yourself out so stupidly i guess, showing how weak you "team" is and how garbage and unhealthy their product and mindset is , so we should probably thank you in a way.
“And fuck you Kevin Smith” Has me dying at the end, good job guys!!!
@Talsedoom Dude, watch clerks and clerks II, he was always woke
@Stormfather guess that's fair.
@Star Wars Dude 2710 because while She-Ra didn't stick to the source material, it was still a good time (mostly). It had a terrible ending, and a number of eyeroll-inducing moments throughout, but for the most part it was entertaining. It was actually _about_ She-Ra. Kevin Smith's She-Man was only about showing his utter disdain for the character
lol that was gold. TRANSformers is another fav
"BEASTMAN, I DON'T LIKE WHAT HE'S SAYING TO ME" Perfection...
Nah man, if it was perfection, then it would have been Tilla and evil Lynn trashing castle Grey skull, whale both he man, and skeletor watch in horror, because that’s what happens in the Netflix adaptation.
The best part is I could see Skeletor actually saying that
😉🤘it's a cartoon I made haha.. https://youtu.be/uWlp4lUa93g
This is the best Robot Chicken episode I have ever watched
I get the feeling Robot Chicken's He-Man wouldn't last five seconds against Flashgitz' Skeletor.
@khahlis Well this is 2 dudes and robot chicken is a whole ass studio so it’s understandable
@Painted Face i still enjoy robot chicken more as it’s more smooth
Compared to the robot chicken shell my Saul last night this is better.
I ligit said this is exactly what we saw on there lol
She literally went to heaven, and started smack talking HeMan because he died. The universe itself recognized his noble sacrifice, but she couldn’t. Why do they think the audience will take her side, when the universe disagrees with her?
Also there is the fact that had He-man not sacrificed himself the universe would have ended. Which to one whom is not Teela, might have realized that if the universe ended He-man would have died with everyone else. So it was literally the only choice he could have made sense he was dead no mater what.
@Mr. Awesome mentally challenged feminists took her side and some idiot men. As far as I'm concerned logical fans took a stand against her.
@Mr. Awesome I’ve seen like 90% of people against her. Personally I’m extremely against her for that singular one situation that I feel was just bad writing unless it was don’t as a genuine teenage fuck up and they plan on cutting amber loose soon for the real best girl adameve. The amber in the comics was a bubbly empty headed cheerleader who took FOREVER and hundreds of obvious red flags to realize who invincible is. I can understand them wanting to go the opposite route to mix things up... but the hero reveal came WAY too early. They’ll break up in the next season to make room for adameve.
@Mr. Lockwood You sound very toxic and selfish but okay…Amber. Because apparently she knew all along, which means she once just being selfishly passive aggressive throughout most of their relationship.
@Ant I think she just got tired of him being late all the time and his retarded excuses. I mean, I was cringing and skipping all these parts because their interactions were atrocious
"Separate the art from the artist, Skeletor." "That's impossible, He-Man!" Twitter in a nutshell.
@Bob Simon Which of my comments are you replying to? I haven't replied to this comment section in 9 months at the latest.
@Peppered Ash What if I don't pay to enjoy the work in question, there for none in the process of making the art make money?
@King you know it cost money to own slaves so not every white family owned them, only those wealthy enough to do so.
@Bowen Jarrell-Guth Sounds like this king guy lives and breathes Twitter. A huge disappointment.
You seem to miss the part where it's history history Everyone has history every nation today is on conquested land every nation had slavery but it doesn't exist today the only hatred fascism and racism is where it's always been the left and the Democrat nazi party need you to keep that hate in your heart a rest of us tell you to walk away
"Where'd the magic go? Why isn't this working?" Genius.
And yet this is still written better than "he-man" revelation.
@monke Let's see if you wake up at 6 and go to bed around 12 you have roughly 18 hours in a day 8 hours of which is spent working leaving you with an extra 10 hours to work on animations and art than a lot of people don't watch tv shows, social life could be at work. And I can disagree and say it's not pathetic If i finish an animation wait about a month and decide I want people to react to the thing I made and than use comments responding to each individual person's feedback and getting a large majority of the people that see its positive feedback that I do care about because it's not about what other artists think it's about the people's reactions, ... Was it funny??? and you can respond to a person in any comment section regardless of the video or YouTubers success I just picked these guys because it's related content making my comment relevant and by definition marking not as spam some people say that although I'm also not a bot and talk to people. If your wondering why I am putting time into responding to comments it's because I find this subject interesting and might make a video on it honestly 😂👊
@Draw For All yeah but you really can't. Or at least feel fulfilled in your art while working a normal job. Take a look at all the artists who actually make good animations or do this kinda stuff for a hobby. They still monetize this stuff with things like patreon and making art requests. How much time can you afford to spend on this art outside of work, social life, sleep, watching shows, and generally existing? Even outside of that you are genuinely pathetic begging for views instead of making a path you can be proud of. What you're doing is just piggybacking off of decent people who put effort into what they do instead of working to get to that level. And don't bullshit me and say "ThIs Is FoR fEeD bAcK sO i CaN iMpRoVe" because if you really wanted feedback you'd talk with other artists who could help you instead of a bunch of randos on the internet. This is for attention and nothing else. Don't suck on the tits of success of another youtuber in the comments just because you don't have the talent to do it on your own. It's just positively shameful man.
@monke first if all the majority of people don't get triggered by something as insignificant as a YouTube comment and are actually curious as to what I'm talking about from my experience second of all you tryna tell me I can't do art and animation if I'm not making money, funny bruh😂
@Draw For All your advertising yourself in youtube comments my man, even if people decide to humor you they'll judge you much more harshly then normally. Just ride the waves of the YouTube current or make weird fetish porn once your art is good enough because that shit makes real capital. The second option is gonna destroy your soul over time but money is money right?
@Just another commenter. we have two different definitions of begging one where I am sincere and ask for feedback and one where i seem desperate
The Netflix series was far removed from the original. It was devoid of morals and ethics. It was less about heroism and friendship, more about killing off a franchise. Literally, as several characters of the franchise were killed. Some even more than once. >_>
I like how even the creators of the revamp knew it was trash and their marketing scheme was basically just "blatantly lie about what its premise is" and then pull the whole "act surprised that people don't like being blatantly lied to and call them sexist" routine.
So why did he lie to the fans? He said it was literally “all about He-Man” is it because he knew He-Man and Skeletor are the beating heart of the IP and he was terrified to admit he made Teela and Evil-Lyn the main characters?
@Shayla how so? I found an article regarding the development of the new He-man, Kevin Smith said “ Mattel didn’t fucking pay me to make a masters of the universe show with out fucking He-Man, I did my research. Which is more than what anybody has done here.
@Silver Raven You liar
@Linear as I said before. If you want to criticize the show go right ahead, it deserves it, if you want to criticize Kevin Smith for making a bad adaptation, fine go right ahead he deserves it. But if you spread lies and misinfo you’re no better than the person you’re criticizing
@Linear if y’all ain’t willing to be honest about the creator then y’all deserve this version of He-man
Kevin Smith standing there *MENACINGLY* the entire time is fucking perfect
@PolishKnightUSA dude, it’s just a cartoon, no need to harass anyone
Hello there Patrick!
They always were wussies. They were lucky enough to have come of age back when The Gipper was president and they could be cool and unPC in their work provided they were leftist douchebag hypocrites the rest of the time. Now it's infiltrated their work meaning they aren't hypocrites anymore but just douchebags. I have friends who were the same back in the 80's. Now, they're just old losers. Kevin Smith is going to have to suffer as he walks through airports and people yell at him "You suck! You used to be cool!"
@RadRemington did a song about this https://soundcloud.com/rad-remington/he-man-why-did-you-kill-me
@Ian He's a pest that does terrible things. Like Baxter Stockman.
In season 2 they literally have a scene where he-man tells skeletor "it's not about us!" 🤣🤣 Im dead inside 💀
As a 40 year old fan of all things Masters of the Universe. I freaking love this video. I laughed so freaking hard.
bro how are you 40 and a furry
I can't wait for a re-examination of the Xenomorph/alien franchise. Think about it: a merry band of plucky female space Marines sent out to destroy Xenomorph hives, but once this elite multiracial band of experts (they're REALLY smart) find the queen, they realize that through their combined knowledge and skills that they can learn the real story. Queen Xenomorph is a strong willed woman that didn't need a yajuta predator in their life anymore and so she ended their relationship and has been destroying everything to prove just how capable she really is. It's a good thing that these space marines know what a girl really needs, so they bust out their mimosa canteens and gather round Queenie to have some serious girl talk. Turns out Queenie doesn't have to commit genocide to show her skills and power because the real strength comes from within, although acid blood does seem to help. Queenie was made an honorary member of the ladies squad and now they travel through space helping women take back the power regardless of species. Sorry guys, this is a female only operation. DEAL WITH IT!
@Very fresh Very flourish couldn't agree more
@G-fan Max1 It was. Like alien v predator is not really a story driven movie, rather it is very much action driven adrenaline spike with some cool insight on predator lore so it helps that the protagonist is cool.
@Very fresh Very flourish that was different. Her character wasn't forced and in your face about it. And the character herself was somewhat likable.
@G-fan Max1 plus didnt the first alien vs predator have a competent female lead already? Like she gained the respect of the predator and that was the sickest shit ever.
lets face it, this skeletor got waaaay better voice than netflix skeletor, they totally ruined everything.
"Separate the art from the artist skeletor" "That's impossible he-man" *"ahhhhhhh"* I leave for just two days, TWO DAYS and everyone in the replies is arguing over art and the artists.
@The River Acis it shouldn't be
Most artists are kinda sensitive tbh Especially fans of art
@Jose Mendoza Honestly, i think a lot of the art done by Shadman is pretty good, but there is a pretty high chance he's a fucking neonazi, and that makes it a bit tough for me to support him... funnily enough, there is a lot of discussion on wether he's a nazi or not, and i think people always bring some interesting points on reflecting about this...
@Psyberklown dude, shut up.
@Kuala Lumpur Heart How is writing poems about people you don't like considered more racist than all the people hanging and burning them to death in literally the same time period?! Did the stories he wrote that didn't get acknowledged till like a century later damage more minorities than all the KKK guys that where busy lynching little Timmy and Jerome's parents?
weirdly enough there's a 2nd new He-Man show on Netflix now too. It's actually much more in line with the general spirit of OG He-Man.
It's literally called "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe". The bad one is called just "Masters of the Universe".
It's called "damage control".
Three months late but I wanna know what it's called tio
What's it called?
Do you hate hollywood for ruining your favourite franchise YES,YES,YES,YES
This is by no stretch of the imagination one of the best pieces of art I have seen in many years. It's comedic sentiment completely accentuates the struggles between true fandom and those who are currently in control of the property. I pledge this team my full support.
This is way funnier and awesome than it should be. Theres a million times more entertainment value, art, and joy in this, than anything Kevin Smith has ever touched.
I was not prepared for Tom without a beard. He looks almost TOO human.
@John Smith Tomleganger, a doppleganger but of Tom. Watch for when more than one appears. They're always growing more.
WAIT THAT WAS TOM?!?
So he's a shitty Xbox 360 game made by the team behind Eternal Darkness?
We've secretly replaced regular Tom with all new Folgers decaffeinated Tom. Let's see if they notice! "Wait, what the?!" As we can see, they didn't notice!
Someone should let The Foundation know that one of their SCPs breached containment and is now co-hosting a podcast.
I like a lot of Kevins older work and his run on Green Arrow was great, so I was really looking forward to this series, but yeah he totally fucked it up. Not only making the entire show about the epic battle between...Evil Lyn and Teela, but it was also just badly written. The power levels were all over the place so badly you never know if He Man can lift a castle or if he's only about as strong as six or seven regular guys (same with Skelegod and powered up Evil Lyn). Not to mention making Evil Lyn this sad little girl who's following Skeletor in the hopes that he'll notice her, rather than a badass in her own right, or making Skeletor into the Joker in that his one and only motivation/fixation is He Man and he literally has no other plan beyond "kill He Man", making half the cast unlikeable, forgetting that Orko was the most powerful wizard on Trolla (not a failure) and his magic just doesn't work properly in our dimension, and the list just goes on. Plus a lot of the dialogue was actually terrible, which actually surprised me because he usually does good dialogue. It's kind of sad, but I think the problem is his daughter. He doesn't seem capable of creating anything any more other than love letters to Harley, or maybe he just lost it as he's gotten older, but I doubt I'd bother watching another series he wrote/directed.
Flashgitz talking about the whole movement trying to de-platform them.. genius.. yet it’s never going to happen I love you guys!
As someone who grew up with He-Man when little (also why I consider the Masters of the Universe sketches from Robot Chicken awesome) and feels what Netflix did was a travesty, you have my subscription.
“ How did you get past the gate keepers ? “ “ It was surprisingly super easy, barely an inconvenience “ 🤣🤣
"Listen up! They're making a Netflix adaptation of..." Me: Please let it be something I've never watched...
It's fucking nuts how garbage all these adaptations and reboots are. ....She-ra was dope as hell though...
With the flix?! NO WAY!
Yeah, that’s pretty much what happened. The new kid version (yeah there’s already another version on Netflix) is pretty good and actually has my favorite Skeletor interpretation.
Just love how skeletor just got past by insulting the guards
The audacity you guys have is unparamount. No one is braver to tackle Hollywood’s Twitter Takeover than you. Good on ya mates!
The ultimate way to say “Screw You” is putting out quality material like this, well done gentlemen
@Username you know the skit is pro the animated series right? And mocking people who are hating on it?
Kinda sad but when an animated skit has better writing than a show on netflix, ….then again netflix has zero standards
Why are you everywhere?
He's saying screw you to the people complaining about Heman.
@gabriel sebastian el hage zotelo , I’ve seen it being the opposite actually that there are more percentages of people having prestigious degrees after finishing college, and they become jobless and homeless more often than people that don’t go to college and getting a prestigious degree. For example 75% of workers in Naughty Dog quit to either work in Japanese video game developing working at companies that aren’t filled with SJWS, or they became homeless and in extreme poverty because of the inhumane working conditions that Sony forces its employees to work whereas people like Oda despite getting paid $1,489 a month as a waiter then paid $1.50 an hour as a manga artist he never gave up his dreams and reached to the very top of the world whereas if he just gave up because he got rejected from art school and animation school than he wouldn’t have became a huge name like he is today just like those people that said fuck you to corporations like Sony, so yes it seem unless the education system is going to get fixed than school is meaningless in modern times.
"I didn't take the magic of Greyscull Skeletor you got rid of it by changing everything about it that made it great, maybe instead of destroying things in your thirst for power you could build things instead." wow. the perfect summary of a villain motivation. that's basically what's happening on all fronts in storytelling right now.
Those words almost sound like there talkin straight to Hollywood
With a disaster like the Netflix He-Man, maybe it's better if all the other classic shows were just left alone.
This reminds me of those old He-Man Robot Chicken skits, on Adult Swim. I'd gladly watch more animations in this style.
A lot of people seem to be missing that this mocks the gatekeepers who are whining up a storm as much as anything.
It's kinda weird having no attachment to He-Man as a child, and seeing the internet blow up over it until a Flashgitz animation is made for me to enjoy as an adult.
I sat through the entire netflix adaption. It's not well written at all and he man isn't the protagonist anymore. He is absent for most of the show. The new protagonist hates heman for sacrificing his life for eternia and has turned into a lesbian sheman. I forget her name as she really is forgettable but they twist the lore so she can be stronger than anyone in the universe but without any drawbacks to the title which her mother had. The animation isn't bad and I enjoy the style. It's a pity tht the show wasnt even about heman. Skeletor gets his powers jacked by evilyn and the next antagonist is some cyborg woman. It's clear the writers gender swapped the roles to appeal to the woke
It is less about He-Man itself and more about the destroying of American culture that the left revels in. They have destroyed Star Wars of all things. I was never a fan of Star Wars myself but seeing them destroy arguably the biggest IP in America is shocking. It is done on purpose everytime and then the media tries to get everyone to mock the fans of destroyed IPs.
The magic of greyskull was shown for like 5 scenes then blown up, which is strange how they left no guards posted outside of their most important hold that has the power to turn anyone into plot armor incarnate
"You're so autistic, you're literally made out of gears" Im dying🤣💀
I was not expecting a hot take on the recent He-Man kerfuffle to be so clever and subtle. Nicely done.
It legit made me sad how they ruined it. Remember when Kevin Smith was cool? It keeps getting more and more difficult to recall.
These guys are literally living my childhood dream: Playing with He Man action figures for a living.
“Separate the art from the artist” Twitter is unable to preform this action. Please try again on someone with common sense.
Was a kid when the first series came out loved it, but I do love this one way more, the fights and everything seem more real. Way much better then the cartoon that was so empty of dialogue and more.. And lots of critics are saying this was a great reboot.. Too each is own, but I do prefer this version then the original.
Should really work on He-Man's voice, he sounds like a douche bag with that accent 0:54 You did nail the politically incorrect villain with Skeletor, It is like Joker from Harley Quinn 0:26 That moment makes him come off as Even Evil Has Standards 0:41 Also, who the heck is that DJ guy? he looks out of place in a fantasy science setting, looks way better in a modern city setting and Skeletor does not simply team up with some random DJ guy
That is Kevin smith , he made the new He man show that everyone hates ,and cries as a big ass donkey baby because his show is terrible ,im even not a fan, just want to know how jerk like him to suffer the consequences for ruining old shows people like
I was expecting Teela to have been snuck in by Kevin, and she's the one who pulled the magic plug.
"The Shadow that bred them can only mock, it cannot make: not real new things of its own. I don’t think it gave life to the orcs, it only ruined them and twisted them; and if they are to live at all, they have to live like other living creatures. Foul waters and foul meats they’ll take, if they can get no better, but not poison" - Based Frodo
"And fuck you kevin" as someone who is definitely not from your target audience but have watched you guys since NG days, you have always been on the money. Proud of you boys.
Your channel brings back the feel of Newgrounds back in its heyday. Also super hilarious.
Better than Netflix adaptation, thank you
Wasn't expecting this style of animation. You guys just cant stop impressing
@Markeyiszra all the figures they used in this are modern
This style is always a disappointment if I'm being honest.
But in this video, they used the 80s action figures.
I believe it is known as "Cyborg Poultry" animation.
All of their heman stuff is like this
When it came to netflix he-man. I would have preferred this than the "Skeletor is an incel" path netfilx took.
Funny, how a guy who became famous playing a character named Silent Bob...CAN"T SHUT UP.
Notice the second silent bob stepped into frame when Skeletor had the sword, the magic left.
I actually really liked the one they made for the kiddies, it reminded me of the old he man but it was still a different take on the story. So it gave me nostalgia and didn't ruin what I grew up with.
"Do you like Flashgitz for being mean to those 'people'?" Yes. Please continue.
I'm assuming when they put quotes around the world people, they aren't actually saying anything mean by that. However it looks like Flashgitz is calling the minds behind the new he man not people.
How these guys manage to retain any form of monetization on this channel is beyond me. Let's hope they manage to stay under the radar.
This feels kinda relevant after the trailer for the new kiddie Netflix series.
Definitely getting those "IT'S ALIIIIVE!!!" feels from these he-skits, but I'm all for it!
"Look at you! You're so autistic that you're literally made of gears!" I'M WHEEZING.
Kevin smith, playing his most iconic role as silent bob was brilliantly capture
That's hilarious. The only character anyone liked Kevin Smith is when he shuts his mouth LOL
Not Bob but a boob......
@Hunter I audibly wheezed at this one. Good job!
You mean his only iconic role.
He-man had more screen time here than on the series
This is probably my favorite video. I love the jokes and just everything about it.
Haha. I swear I thought I opened a Netflix trailer, I was shocked when I thought this was a real show.
Honestly, aside from 2 shows I've more or less completely lost interest in Netflix originals. Though in my case it's mainly because of the massive slew of movies that look like something you'd see in a Best Buy bargain bin.
This is perfect 😂 Captured the robot chicken vibe perfectly
Bro fuck robot chicken , this is way better
@don't be surprised I understand your spam on most comments, but Sgt. Doom clearly doesn't need to find peace.
I love how this could also apply to the fandom.
more entertainment in 3 1/2 mins than the 'new' he man
Thanks for doing this, in just a couple of minutes this was way better than the entire new show xD mostly loved that phrase "or you like flashgitz for being mean to those people"
Man, Silent Bob always knows the right thing to say. The deep thoughts of this bright poet are truly a treasure.
Your the only person who notice him
They got even more screen time here than in the actual Netflix adaptation, absolutely breathtaking
I did and loved it. It was made before Netflix went full Hollywood. I can almost tell what decade a show is made by how the men are treated lol.
@DmanDice my brother had to convince me to watch He-man. Honestly if you like the animation just watch Castlevania if you haven't.
@THE OWO SLAYER Yeah the animation at least is cool. Im a bit older so I kind of checked out on watching reboots. They got me with the 1st two star wars sequels though. But when I see stuff like this, Im probably never going to watch it.
@DmanDice I wouldn't call it terrible. Just ok I guess. Good enough animation, good fight scenes, some of dialogue could be better and some characters don't do much and the story's a little bland. It not great but it's not terrible. Nothing compared to the last star wars movie because that was horrible.
They should’ve had Man-At-Arms guarding the gate. Duncan wouldn’t have folded so easily.
That bit at the beginning, with He-Man getting bullied, was awesome. If that was the Netflix show I would've LOVED it! Hell. I love the idea of Teela being a badass, lesbian, warrior despite her having been a demure, animal-loving druid in the original. It's just that, whatever the fuck is going on with the show that we got, sucks ass. x_x
I've said it before and I'll say it again, "Kevin Smith's best performance with dialogue will always be Silent Bob." Then he opened his mouth and everything went down hill from there.
How long did it take you to make this? I would legit watch this as a beloved series I'd return to from start to finish every now and again This was amazing
The perfect Amount of satire. The perfect amount of shade. A true Flashgitz Production.
The He-Man adaptation was what pushed me away from Netflix.
They did ruin he-man. Well, Kevin Smith did.
This is more watchable than the Netflix series
Not gonna after actually watching the new Kevin Smith he-man, this hits a lot different than when I first saw it.
"Where'd the magic go?" sums up revelation perfectly
@Primal Convoy And that's great that they gave them backstories, but killing Orko off early just doesn't sit right with me. I'm sure others agree.
@Primal Convoy I disagree with you man. Cause oh man it sure was loving to see them spit on He-Man after he was dead. Teela wouldn't act like that about He-Man. His father wouldn't act like that either. I'm sorry but I don't see how that was love. His father would've been proud to see such a son do something like that. Adam literally saved the whole universe from peril. And his father just lashes out? No that's not how it works. Teela then is like "Oh my God he DIDN'T TELL ME??" Shouldn't she be proud of Adam for literally saving her?! That's his best friend! Teela wouldn't do something like that. And the fact that he got killed twice really sucks. Cause if I remember correctly that he cannot go back to the afterlife after dying the second time. So that means he's completely gone. And the fact that Kevin Smith lied about the show stating that was "literally all about He-Man" just nails it in the coffin. What type of love is this? This ain't love put into this show. I don't know what it is.
@Red Falcon Not really. The show was full of love and careful attention to the details of the original show. It's a shame you couldn't see that. Perhaps you don't remember the episodes that dealt with Teela being the next Sorceress, or Orko's backstory?
Well, until it returned at the end of the series. Can't wait to see Skeletor in part 2!
@Michael Urban I think that’s the joke he was making, dude.
I'm gonna be fair, I did not think it was THAT bad. Especially as they had Mark Hamill doing the voice for Skeleton, that was brilliant. The music and effects were also pretty incredible. But the forced feminism was put on pretty thick, and I keep saying it: "Changing hair styles is not a valid form of character development." Also should have called the movie "Teela - Masters of the Universe" without the He-Man part in front of it, considering he was not even in it for the majority, and it would have been a more honest title.
This is better then the show
I love how Kevin Smith is just idle.
Please continue on your epic adventure on youtube. Your work is a masterpiece:)
Adam: “but I died!” Teela: “yah, and we had to live with that.” Bitch what!
@Comrade Sam And to make matters worse, Mark's "friends" all took Amber's side!!! Like, what the hell is in the air they're breathing, because it must only affect humans. How else would you explain that level of stupid?
This is what modern feminism in films and shows are now! Self entitled, rude, narcissistic, horrible women who believe they are stronger than men in almost every way! That’s not feminism, that’s oppression and tyranny aided by insecurity and prudence!
@M Teela: stop Adam: Stop what? Teela: Being nice. just.. let me be angry. y'know with lines like this, it just dosen't seem like it would make anybody like, or route for him/her, especially when those line are coming from the "main" character! Jim Hawkins from Trasure Planet, is another good example,. Hell, I'd even say he's on par with that version of Teela.
Man dies and somehow she still makes it about her.
Fucking hell… I hate that so much!!
"and fuck you Kevin Smith" - perfect ending
i love how he does skeletor so well
You almost had me with the furry gladiatorial match but after this masterpiece I am but forced to give you my money for stickers.
I'm just going to say it, if the only big change Kevin Smith made to He-Man was to make He-Man gay, no one would have batted an eyelash. Mostly because everyone pretty much assumed he was gay.
Bullshit. Guys would be PISSED.
“If you wish to know the future of your childhood icons, simply imagine Skeletor tearing down a Phil Anselmo poster, forever.”
@voodazz I don't like Frank Sinatra for when he would hit women but that doesn't make his music objectively bad
@Bingus McDrangus truee
@Mick McGarnackle more or less. Idk about him personally and didn’t research enough to claim to. However I was curious enough from the clip. It seems like he said something racist, but isn’t necessarily a racist. But yes I agree with you. Though I would also include the other excerpt where it seems like he only did an official apology when he came to realize how many people he may have offended. It seems like the first time he played it off as people judging before knowing that he had been drinking white wine all night, it was an inside joke, people had been heckling him, etc. idk his true thoughts or feelings though. But I thought I would save others a few minutes and make the click easy if they wanna embark or expand the rabbit hole. Cheers !!
@Jonathan Hammond I'm guessing that this is the relevant excerpt...? " In a July 2015 interview with Rolling Stone, Anselmo spoke out against Pantera and his other band's usage of the Confederate flag, claiming that it was a mistake to use it on their merchandise, albums, and other promotional material. Anselmo said "These days, I wouldn't want anything to fucking do with it because truthfully ... I wouldn't. The way I feel and the group of people I've had to work with my whole life, you see a Confederate flag out there that says 'Heritage, not hate.' I'm not so sure I'm buying into that." Anselmo said originally, that Pantera used the image because they were huge fans of Lynyrd Skynyrd, but it was never about promoting hate. "
@Bingus McDrangus Lmao, being racist is still bad. You saying it isn’t?
Well now we have to make a better episode once the second half launches 🤣
I understand how mad everyone was but as someone new to he man i still found it entertainment. I do wish they didnt kill he man twice cause was actually cool.
Being honest, my big gripe was the advertising. It was set up as if it would be like He Man but in the end it ended up being a Teela show. Which is fine, just advertise it that way. Don't say "We have the best Shepard's Pie this side of the Atlantic," and get mad when people call out that you're serving pot roast and not Shepard's Pie.
"Phil Anselmo's a racist!" Pantera is my favorite band of all time and I laughed my fucking ass off! Update: Phil Anselmo put Skeletor's bones in traction...
I love how on the nose this is. Also be careful with that Templar sticker...
He-man and Skeletor literally only made cameo appearances in their *own* show
@C Teal Nah it was terrible and HeMan and Skeletor are supposed to be the main characters not a Stan Lee esque characters
I thought it was "Masters of the Universe" not the "HeMan and Skelator chuckle hour" The show was OK 7/10
@Username rent free
@Username I'm scared of toasters
@steve Mceveryman Viewers: this writing is terrible Writers: no its not youre just sexist, racist, homophobic, misogynistic and a virgin
“EpIsOdE sIx HaD mOrE hEmAn ThAn YoU kNeW yOu WaNtEd.” —A Hack
Wait, are you telling me that He-man's reboot isn't at least decent? But I was very looking forward to it! The trailer had such a good impression on me!
This is more amazing than my simple mind can comprehend.
As an actual autistic person I can confirm we are all made of gears
There was more affection and respect for He-Man as a character and franchise in this comedic shitpost than there was in the entire Netflix adaptation.
@Primal Convoy it got the 2nd season cuz they cut season 1 into 2 parts for the same reason Loki got cut Covid
@electricbayonet2 I remember seeing that and I was very shocked about it.
@OkayConstruct There are actually some edits you can find where someone took away Teela's makeup and made her sidecut into a crewcut...and she just straight-up looks like a dude, because long hair and makeup were the only things remotely feminine about her after the timeskip. That said, I consider Teela's weird design to be one of the lesser problems with the show. There's a lot more substantive stuff wrong.
@Eyelesswolf BRUH SERIOUSLY LMAO
@Red Falcon you know what's funny about that haircut it was made up by pornstars so the cameras can see them giving head better
