Any other plant based athletes here? 👇
Dudes cotton mouth is grossing me out.. when he talks you can hear the squishn tongue slapping nasty.. mastication noises..
This is a topic with a very big debate. Some people say the carnivore diet is better or omnivore or vegan. Just be sure to make a research about the people who are promoting these diets and try to figure out which person do you trust or feel most appealed to before trying their diets out. There are endless books about these topics on "How to ..." give it a go and see what happens.
One of the biggest bullshit podcast ever hosted by Joe Rogan
netflix movie the game changers pretty much goes directly against this guy. who is right in this?
He's totally right. Ok, I'm in healthcare and had my Lipid profile annually as vegetarian. I had very good levels as a veterinarian for 2 years.
He's got his favorite Obama shirt on.... ;)
Veganism works for me 30+ years no need for doctors(with the exception that as a triathletes we almost always manage to break a collar bone..lol.)
Vegan is just another word for pussy
Fact is...nobody knows...nobody knows shit about health. -Lewis Black
Not sure if he is familiar with the concept of evolution but it takes hundreds to thousands of years for us to evolve, but the high meat/ high protein diet is a product of advancements in science and technology. We could never just go to a grocery store or fast food joint and choose between any meat option for every single meal..our evolution hasn't caught up with these changes yet and we are seeing health consequences... also just because we are omnivores doesnt mean we have to eat meat. just because I like icecream and can eat it, it doesn't mean it is best for me or even natural. Trust the science instead.
Amazed to see that Chris & Joe are so far off the path. Human are primates, and primates are predominately frugivores (fruit eaters), at least those living in their optimal environment...the jungle where we evolved for 5 million years. Monkeys don't eat veggies or shell fish, and vitamins don't need to be eaten. Gut bacteria produce over 90% of the vitamins we need. Specialized fats & proteins...not needed. The body breaks down everything into it's constituent components and produces whatever it needs, including omega 3 oils. When is the last time anybody has ever seen a monkey eating oysters? Ridiculous! Oil from avocado is broken down into it's base fatty acids, and then built up into whatever the body is deficient in. Same with protein...which is broken down into base amino acids then assembled into whats needed. Humans have weak digestive systems to process simple fruit sugars. Anything else fouls the system, leading to disease like bald heads (Joe & Chris). Take a good look at a 100 year old picture of jungle people. You will not see one person with a bald head, missing teeth, diabetes or whatever.
Wow, joes not the brightest
@john Google yup..thats one thing im sure of too
@duray mond ok smart guy. I'm sure you know more than Joe does. He's only a guy who's made a huge YouTube following for himself.
@john Google hey, I side with science and facts,,truth and logic when it comes to topics like these and my health...if you want to follow by joes opinion - good luck( youre gonna need it)
Wow, duray monds not the brightest.
He works at an arcade?
This is SO fucking dumb LMAO !
Fuck Joe Rogan and peirs Morgan If Arnold can go vegan (almost as of now) then any body can
Dr Joan Borysenko wrote a book called " The Plant Plus Diet Solution _ Personalized Nutrition for Life" . Good read. Useful info.
what about Buddhism? weren't they vegan and been around before Christianity? He said he didn't know of a culture that were vegetarian or vegan? Honestly it doesn't matter what you eat. we are all going to die. eat what makes you feel happy and F all the haters trying to tell you one way or another.
To quote gauntlet legends, Food is good
How about the MERCURY in the fish and other bullshit from them farming the fish. This guy is full of shit.
Only and single is ALLAH praise be to him. We're not built to be vegans , our digestice system doesn't produce the same enzyme as other natural herbivore , we're omnivores
@WESSTFCM SWORDM2021 I always wondered what the Islam version of the annoying mormon kid was
Pitiful ,Your words wouldn't harm ALLAH praise be to him same a dog's bark wouldn't harm the sky and the prophet mohammed peace be upon is more than you'll ever be , but keep that same energy when you meet ALLAH praise be to him.
Fuck Allah and fuck mohammed. He is a pedophile
Eat a fucken pork chop along with your vegetables
Tribalism. People will turn idea or practice into policy to acquire a sense of self-importance, belonging & stable foundation. In the US people strongly warrant to challenge & abandon the nation's history & traditions. They are consistently introducing new ideas & behaviors but jealously COMPETING for their landslide validation. Everything from transgenderism to Crossfit has a minority following but marketed as "the next big thing". How to weigh the quality of a practice is its exclusivity. You don't whore something sacred to you.
https://youtu.be/7O8HD1kFXSU There are plenty of plants that have natural sources of omegas & B12. I’m sorry Joe but this is misinformation
What’s iPhones got to do with diet? Milks meant to grow a baby cow. Drink a lot of it and you’ll too grow like a cow. It’s shit.
The Bible says it's ok to eat meat... I think I'll go with what God says
@Tyler B Proverbs 1:26-31 King James Version (KJV) 26 I also will laugh at your calamity;
I hate vegans because they believe in their imagination. Just like religious people believe theres a floating man in the clouds lol.
@PowerfulJRE We hope you follow your heart and stop this spreading of misinformation. Our fur babies are suffering every day for no reason. Our environment, our beautiful home and forests, is being decimated. It's all deserved that nature takes away the most vital, in the mirroring of man's greed and carelessness. The chaos is deserved, the disorder is deserved. The suffering however comes at the price of all entities who continue the path of greed and exploitation ceasing to exist here in the new day when heaven comes to earth. The time is near. No half measures will suffice. An overhaul of leadership and direction of radical proportion is imminent. This will come with revelations of this world and of life itself, truths that will be difficult for some to accept, however once accepted will be so spiritually liberating there will be world wide transformation of ethical, cultural and economic standards.
so... you disagreed with something in the video?
Ppl thing that eating wild grass will bring dinosaurs back
Animal abusers are putrid obscene vile barbaric lowlife nasty filth, I would say to the core, but they have no core. And if you are eating animals you are abusing animals.
@eeeaten Bivalve animals are obviously at a lower level of consciousness. Pigs are highly intelligent. Eating them is abusive, but also very close to cannibalism imo. Vegans don't consume animals or animal byproducts, so that would include bivalves. A big part of the problem is environmental. Eating land based animals uses about 15x as much plant food as eating plant food directly. Eating organic plant food has the lowest possible environmental impact, especially when grown in one's own garden. Regarding ocean animals, environmental impact is substantial from having most of the 7.8 billion humans on the planet consuming them. Speaking of oceans, without the oceans having absorbed about 90% of the CO2 humans have produced, we would live in a solar oven by now. But the trade-off is that carbonic acid has formed from the dissolved CO2 and increased ocean acidity has wreaked havoc on reefs and other ocean life.
@Cloud 9.1 so if you eat oysters you're an animal abuser like those that hang the pigs up?
@eeeaten Shellfish are extremely sensitive to their environments and they do have pain receptors. The meme "Boiled Alive" is promoted by CoonAss ie Cajun "Cult"ure as something to brag about. They dump sacks of live crawfish into boiling water but most of the crawfish have to wait for the temp to get back up to death temp. Butt it tradishun... i can hear the dumb shit muther fuckers now. They also get drunk very early in the day at Mardi Gras to hang up pigs by their feet and slit their throats to blood let them to death... part of their Kristian heritage. fuck heritage. they save the blood and brains to eat as part of the feast. they call it cochon de lait. Lord of the Flies cult.
a fairly black and white perspective you have there. if you're eating shellfish you're an animal abuser?
are those mics active or is everything hooked up to some battery or generator we cant see? what is hooked up to those mic stands?
The cable runs through the stand. Very nice expensive arms.
David Malone the silver connector above the mic is the male female connection that links it to Jamie’s sound boards and comps
Hemp seed oil contains mainy essential fatty acids, has the perfect ballance of omega fats and is more bio available than fish oil, more stable than fish oil and will not oxidise like fish oil. Hemp seed oil has more protein and iron than meat and many other essentias like magnesium and many vitamins.
hemp seed oil does not contain DHA or EPA. this was discussed in the video. it does contain ALA, and your body can convert some of this to EPA/DHA depending on your biology. do you know how much hemp seed oil you need to get enough DHA/EPA?
Dude should meet family lines of vegans that have been strictly vegan going back decades... and bloodwork usually gets better on green diets. Like mine. And joint pain decreases. But yeah you have to study and find recipes and make sure you are eating a balanced diet and not just spinach and lettuce, or junk food.
He completely touched that. He's just saying it can be dangerous to wake up one day and say I'm going full vegan when your diet has been drastically different from that your entire life.
Kriss kresser is a fuckin acupuncturist and anti flu vaax proponent....that's stops me from taking lessons from him...Joe bring some proper scientific rational anti hoax promoters in ur show.
AYAN GANGOPADHYAY can you be more specific? Where is he wrong in the video?
@eeeaten yes absolutely...though not being a vegan myself...but I think plant based whole food diet is the healthiest...and there are umpteen reason for that, medical proofs ....
sure kresser endorses some crazy nonsense. but did you disagree with the content of the video?
U guys are full of shit
did you disagree with something in the video?
2:02 the dude literally steals Joe Rogan's own joke and uses it on him in his own podcast!! lmaoooo idk if he has seen any of his standup but that bit is famous lol
@Sharan Ravigopal hey no worries bro there's no need to be hostile all the time even though that happens alot in youtube comments aha. Have an awesome day 😎
@adrianhe wow thanks that is the most respectfu convo I've ever had in the YouTube comments lmao
@Sharan Ravigopal all good, to each their own 👍
@adrianhe whaat? i mean he's not my favorite comedian, but i like his comedy haha
@Sharan Ravigopal it's a joke bro lol...it's because many believe his comedy is bad, me included lol
Hey guys! Great conversation. I hope you'll consider revisiting it again in 2019/2020 as the vegan/vegetarian options that exist have improved significantly in the past 3 years. It's never been easier to go vegetarian or vegan, and more people are trying it than ever before.
@Christian Hendriksen thats what happened to me. Was vegan for 2 years thinking i was doing myself and the planet good but after those 2 years i realised im sacrificing myself for the diet. Been on a carnivore diet for nearly 2 months and about 95% of my food intake is animal products, I feel amazing, I wakeup with more energy, workout harder and my skin is completely clear. The quality of animal products I get from my butcher is very good though and im sure non grass fed will cause some health issues but better than veganism
Also 85% return to eating meat, because of health risk
The vegan options have only become more and more synthetic and commercialized. Veganism is a huge profit for big companies.
Grass is not more nutrient dense than grain.
Jake Fremark fighting the good fight huh jakey
@eeeaten I feed cattle for a living and raise them both in pens and pasture. I don't want people to misunderstand livestock feeds and production.
@Jake Fremark uh-huh.
@eeeaten They are definitely high in energy. They aren't the most healthy but they are high calories which is energy. Cattle in confinement are fed much more than just grain. Silage, grass hay, distillers meal as well as mineral supplements.
@Jake Fremark my aunty lois has grown at a fantastic rate since she discovered french fries and pizza. does that qualify her diet as nutrient dense?
There is a reason the most enlightened human being in history (Jesus) ate so much fish... Think about it.
@Jason Avery apologist bullshit. jeezus condoned slavery because slavery was accepted in those ignorant iron-age communities. your religion is childish nonsense.
@eeeaten You took one verse out of context and Judged Jesus... The basic context is that Jesus is giving a parable about servants who manage a house when the master is away. The obvious application is teachers/preachers/priests or whatever each denomination might call them and their behavior in taking care of the church, while the master is on a long trip. Some teachers will misbehave very badly, in ways we can't imagine. Actually beating other servants just for the fun of it as well as getting drunk and so on. When the master comes home he is ready, and rightfully so, to totally assign these wicked men 'with the unbelievers' (verse 46). Also as we instinctively demand it from our sense of right and wrong, it is mentioned that those who do what is worse will find hell with the unbeliever to be worse. .
doesn't jesus recommend that disobedient slaves should be beaten (luke 12:47) or even killed (matthew 24:51)? such enlightenment!
Humans are not fucking animals ! 🤣🤣🤣
are you kidding?
I god damn love chicken tenders.
This Kresser seams really unknowledgable for having been on the "vegetarian, Vegan, Macrobiotic, raw foods" spectrum. ...also, what the hell is a " vegetarian who eats organ meats"?
Vegetarian who eats organ meats = eat mainly plant-based foods (but also dairy and eggs) with the exception of occasionally eating liver and other organ meats.
bet you're an expert
these meat eaters are full of shit. they basically admits that "if u do a Vegan diet right, its alright". yeah, its alright
they're full of shit but you agree with them? confusing.
veganism is a detox diet it's very healthy to do for 3-4 months, maybe 6 months, follow it with water/dry fasting to clean your system of all the shit you've been eating your whole life then you gotta build your body back up
build? more like retox?
I got an advert with a man talking about psychedelics when I clicked this video. damn YouTube advertising knows their target audience lmfao
Was it the Gaia one with Graham Hancock?
Discuss how many meat eaters vs vegans have cancer
you mean people who eat the SAD vs vegans? they imply in the first 40 seconds that the SAD is shit.
He got bali belly. Noob
Veganism is not a diet it is a religion. Even in a video where someone is 'coming out' as leaving veganism... Tells a story of all their health issues, including them dissing the dozens of doctors and nutritionists that recommended a change in diet (Somewhat animal based.). Then finally, when everything is really bad they agree and go along, eat some eggs and some fish... 5 days later there is a complete turnaround and massive improvement. Despite.. Despite all that the girl still, at the end of the video firmly declared that veganism had nothing to do with their health issues, they were unrelated to their five years of veganism.
@eeeaten It was mainly a way to illustrate that a future where killing animals is just something that can not be. People are as it is really pissy about even having a small amount of predators close to their homes. What i tried to say, is that to protect the worlds food supply animals are killed all the time. No, killing people is not the solution, but some form of population control is needed: Some vegans eat an insane ammount of fruit, if veganism grew in popularity with like 10% how many orchards does that translate into? Veganism can not fix the problem of a constantly expanding population.
@anvior45 your issue with deer population doesn't translate to the rest of the world's livestock animals - they are bred to be food. as we eat less animals, less are bred. there are no uneaten cows/chickens/pigs wandering the streets or forests. killing billions of people as a solution can only be considered insane. especially when another option is just to eat less animals, which means there's more land to grow food for people (meat production takes about 10x the resources). also most crops in the world are fed to livestock - eating less animals also means less crops, less deforestation, less harvesting, less little animals dying. maybe your hunter friend would lose his job?
@eeeaten I am not really sure how i feel about the fish versus pig thing. The morality of it all gets a little cloudy, certainly a pig is more aware and have more capacity for stress and suffering so the pig is most likely the answer. For me.. Let us say i get great powers and decide! Stop killing animals, including deer. Well.. Ok.. The deer population will swell. Traffic accidents, including lethal ones (for humans will go up.) and then the damage caused for produce, will go up a lot.. A lot. So you need to control the population... Shoot them? No.. That is wrong. Let us do something natural. Natural. Oh... Oh, if we get wolves and bears back! They will keep the deer population down right? ... And then people are faced with living right close to wolf packs of 8 living right close.. With their 7-year old wanting to go out and play and explore.. It will not work out. If we say.. cut down the human population by about 75% i think that might be a good start. As it is now, to protect the food supply you need to kill rabbits and deer in the thousands. I have a hunter friend that is payed to go out and kill 15-25 rabbits on a single night to protect crops.
@anvior45 i agree about the sheep being shorn, i don't think they suffer. but _breeding_ sheep for wool, having dairy cows and having chickens all involve killing baby animals as a waste product - that's what vegans object to. i have free range chickens, they have a good life. but i only have hens - where are the roosters? dead of course. for every laying hen there's a dead rooster. the same goes for milking cows - most boy calves and many of the girls (every first born calf is killed) go straight to slaughter in their first few days of life. the same with male lambs - sheep flocks have very few males - they're almost all dead. agree? i agree about crustaceans and molluscs even more so - can they really suffer? even fish probably can't feel pain like mammals do. i think it's a shame to kill an octopus though. it's certainly more moral to eat a fish than a pig, don't you think?
@eeeaten But one thing that vegans do, that is really not.. Sane, is this idea about the horrible suffering for chickens, when it comes to their eggs, and milk and dairy for cows and other animals. This idea that the cows and chickens suffer from this is just.. Madness. I have actually worked with shearing sheeps, and despite it being a bit of a tussle, the idea that the sheep suffer from being sheared is just nonsense. Older sheep are even smart enough to know what is going down, as you can notice it how they move when you are working on them. Also the idea of the possible existance of suffering comes up, with insects but also with things like shrimp and so forth: To what extent is their capability of insight and suffering even close to an actual person?
Just one thing about that whole evolutionary theory around needing meat to thrive and multiply successfully: India.
@Digi APX Vegetarianism is hilariously divisive and starts all these silly "Oh, but what if iron or magnesium or..." conversations. Population growth or decline can be heavily influenced by immigration/emigration, and wars or conflict. I avoided those examples. Fact is, the single largest example of the least flesh eating people in the world is India, which is 18% of the world's population. 18% sample size of the planet is statistically significant. We are not talking about the exception to the rule, we are talking about the demonstration of the rule. Indian birthrates vs deathrates has been indisputably more people breeding and staying alive than are dying for decades in a row, and they are primarily vegetarians. That is not so of other nations I named. I eat meat daily, and I don't see vegetarianism as an attack on my dietary choices of the options available to me, as so many omnivores, or self proclaimed carnivores do. I do however think it's laughable that if a relative goes veggie people get concerned and speak about it such as "Oh, you gotta make sure you go to your doctor and get your nutrient levels checked all the time if you go vegetarian to make sure you're staying healthy." Those same people don't bat an eye when other people they know eat fastfood 1 or more times *every*single*day of their life. Vegetarianism is significantly healthier than the typical western diet. Significantly. Significantly.
@John R. How is it if some of the most malnourished communities in the world breed the most.
@Digi APX yes, birthrates vs deathrates is a pretty valid measure of how fruitful and multiplying a particular group is.
@John R. Vegetarian is faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar from veganism. They still eat animal products that we have consumed for tens of thousands of years. Veganism is far more extreme. Besides birthrates are a poor factor is nutrition. Look at african slums, you think of those people as having a lot of nutrition? In fact maybe the the lack of nutrition that puts these people into these states where their bodies go "oh fuck im dying i need to procreate before i die"
@Pilot Conscious People of India are not a race, you race-baiting, leftist faggot..
Wow this is lame
The blood group diet best suits me. Meat and two veg. I have tried to go vegetarian 3 times throughout my life. Each time I became weak and ill within a year, even when I went to eating fish as my only meat. Then I was told I needed vit B12 injections if I weren't going to eat red meat. It comes from cattle. Well may as well eat it then. After all, we have canine teeth!
blood group diets appear to be nonsense https://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/diet-not-working-maybe-its-not-your-type-2017051211678
It’s mainly fire that helped us become human. Meat had a role but only like 10-20%
@I Coroa you told your mom i mocked the light bringer? goddammit!
@I Coroa uh-huh
@eeeaten There will be consequences to how you've spoken to me, and how you've mocked the light bringer. Just a forewarning, it is out of my hands now, so please do try to take care of yourself. It will not be easy for you. Much love.
We are all concomitants in an eternal world designed for life by a loving creator, not designed to act as competition or consumptive colonialists.
*Rogan Rogan on the wall, does Joe Rogan stick his Hogan in vegan girls at all?*
*Joe "Vegan Warrior Villain" Rogan*
A vegetarian diet will turn into a renal diet eventually...that's what happened to me and now I need a kidney transplant. So much for eating healthy....
I’ve worked at a vegan restaurant as a line cook once and every day after work I’ll go buy me a cheeseburger or something meaty
Look at Dr. Natasha Campbell-Mcbride, she is the GAPS diet lady but she wrote a book on how to do it being vegan.
Longterm vegans often end up with terrible dental health, too. Collagen helps keep tooth enamel strong and gums from receeding.
why do you think collagen has anything to do with it? i'd guess that deficiencies in vitamin d and calcium would be the culprits.
"Grass is more nutrient dense than grains" Time to throw out the cereal and lawn mower. We can eat grass and bugs like they do in the third world. What fucking progress.
Moral choices about eating meat? Here's a moral choice for you: I eat meat so the animals don't overpopulate. I eat meat so that we don't have to reintroduce wolves into the suburbs to kill the deer to cull them and prevent starvation and disease.
@eeeaten One good turn deserves another.
@Darth Stigater what an eloquent response.
@eeeaten cry moar
that is ridiculous. we only have billions of livestock animals because we breed them to be eaten. as we eat less animals, less animals are bred to be be food. we're not going to have cows walking around uneaten.
