I just finished watching through all of your videos after a few months of lockdown in my country New Zealand. It's been wonderful to watch both of you grow so much over the years of traveling, and this solo flight is just another step. It's inspiring to see you both become more confident and comfortable throughout your travels and your video quality continue to improve. Great job capturing it all solo for the first time! My girlfriend and I have decided to try to vlog our future travels too. One suggestion I have is to split up your "watch from the beginning" playlist as scrolling through hundreds of videos on the list to get back to where I was up to viewing was time consuming. Having a playlist for each year would make it much easier to get back into each time someone wants to watch.

Loved watching your first flight! I recently got to experience my "first" solo flight again but this time as a wheelchair user! It felt a bit scary to fly by myself as a wheelchair user but the flight attendants and gate staff were amazing and so helpful!

I used to love flying by myself as a teenager, but I'm afraid of flying now and I don't know that I could do it alone without having a panic attack. I flew to Australia by myself as an exchange student when I was 16. I had never flown before or even really left my home state. It was pretty crazy and scary, but insanely fun at the same time.

This was my favorite video and I’ve seen 99% of them now! I’m so proud of you Kara! You did it and you proved you are a strong independent women!

My first time flying/traveling alone was when I was 19 years old been married for 6 months and I was going to visit my husband in his job training for the army. I got stuck an airport and had to find a last minute hotel it was a horrible experience but getting to see my husband for the first time in 6 months really made up for it ❤️

I used to travel/fly alone and when I invited my brother and a few friends back than to spend a long weekend in Scotland. I'm the last person to comment on this but it's always great seeing both of you on your own. I had to do this same thing (albeit for a much shorter trip) and while I've also traveled all over the world, I was not expecting how anxiety-inducing traveling solo for the first time would be!

You did well Kara ! I travel alone all the time and that squeeze by the neighbor on the plane is so awkward ! Bahahaha I’ve only used the bathroom on a plane once ! That was a 16 hour flight and I had to run to the next gate so I had to. My first flight/s alone were terrifying! I had only been on a plane twice before (VIC>QLD and back) when I was 7, with my family & flying within my own country. 12 years later, I was setting off for 3 flights (VIC>NYC) all by myself! And my first time travelling overseas. My brother was already in NYC a couple of days before I arrived and that feeling of seeing him standing in the airport, on the other side of the world, a familiar face… The biggest sigh of relief!! You did extremely well & all those years of travel would’ve made all the difference

When I was 19, I travelled to Germany all by myself to visit and stay with my German friend for an entire month!! I didn’t realize how big of a deal it was doing that all alone right out of high school until I got a little older (I’m 22 now) it was an amazing experience and so proud of myself for working for months and months to save up the money and travel solo. The friend I went to visit was my best friend from my senior year of highschool. She was a German exchange student and came in as a sophomore. But because she was an exchange student, she got to do all the cool senior activities and we became literally best friends throughout her year in Texas (we are still best friends) it was heartbreaking when she had to go back to Germany so I promised her I’d fly out to go see her a year later. Going alone to a foreign country is crazy but the BEST thing I ever did and after Covid, I’m going back solo!!❤️❤️

Loved this video, so cute!! My husband and I leave each other’s side for work every day but then spend every other waking moment together, even at home, we are almost always in the same room. It’s been that ways for 6 years and even though we know we are co-dependent, we couldn’t imagine life any other way.
