I was reading this light novel series somewhat recently. An absolutely wholesome series, with a purely wholesome father and daughter relationship. (Not being sarcastic)

For anyone wondering: It’s not an isekai and the father and daughter relationship stays normal and wholesome.

While the story is accurate to the source material and very wholesome. The animation doesn't do this story justice most of the fight scenes are either quick cuts with no action or a bunch of still frames. And the animation as a whole is very stiff and choppy.

@@flamedance58 It's basically a story about a guy (who is 30 years old) who takes care of his grandfather's illegitimate daughter (as in his aunt) who is 6 years old, essentially raising her during the story In the later half after the story has gone through a 10 year timeskip is revealed that she is not the daughter of the grandfather (so they aren't related) but also that she fell in love with him And then they marry, is why anytime a "father with adopted daughter" story happens people are worried it will end like that, just like others have done If you are interested on the anime, it only adapts the first half so you can ignore the other
