this song defined my teenage years, so happy to have been part of this era

I grew up with MCR, but never saw them live. My wife did, and never let me live it down. I worked for 3 years to close a project that would save my company literal millions. The deal was closed over lunch, and I spent the entire time trying to get tickets to the MCR reunion tour. I sat in a booth with people worth millions and frantically reset the page for my tickets to MCR. My wife and I got them. This was in probably 2020 and the tour was delayed due to Covid. We've held on to the tickets and cannot wait even three years later. We'll carry on.

I've seen MCR twice in concert. The first time Black Parade wasn't in the set list. I was in shock, thinking they'd come back out for an encore with this song and it never came... =( The second time around they ended the show with it and it was epic! One of my favorite bands of all time.

My brother actually introduced me to these bands. He would always play these songs on the piano and in the car, and I suddenly had flashbacks when the choruses hit. It’s such good music, I don’t listen to MCR because of the emo aura, but rather because of memories with my brother and the great beats! Thanks MCR

Recently started playing this song in our band as a special request for a special event. This song really grows on you. I love it. I just wish our lead singer would do it, but we're a bunch of old classic rockers and it won't happen. As the keyboard guy I still love it. It's my daughter's favorite band!

Last year through October and November my father slowly died of Covid, and eventually he passed. Soon after I found out the whole time my wife had cheated on me. I came back to this song…it has encouraged me to carry his memory on. To keep holding my head up. I’m in my 30’s and this song is more prevalent in my life than ever before.

I lost my dad when I was 11 and I have always screamed this song at the top of my lungs for him and my marriage broke down last year with my best friend of 18 yrs. Their memory will carry on and so will we bud. These songs are like an old friend.. Go back to them whenever u need them. Famous Last Words is also really empowering too.. Hold your head high bud, you are making him proud.

I started listening to MCR when my depression had started to develop (around 2007)... Yesterday I was at their gig. It was like a closure to me - half of my life I was fighting depression and I hope this chapter is closed.

It will likely never close but it will become easier to manage. I wish you luck on your mental health journey

Today, when life has all changed for the better for me and now that I get to taste the sunny days and life is sweeter, after being through so much and healing from all… I got to live one of my biggest dreams as a teenager 🥲🥲 SEEING THEM. At my now home Paris ♥️🤘 Dreams do come true!! I would have never imagined this.
