I'm not positive but I think it's based off of a storyline called A Rose For Emily and it includes a part about the wife murdering her husband with rat poison. Although most of it was MCR's creation, considering it was about the man making a deal with the devil to kill 1,000 evil souls to get his lover back, some of it might be based off of the story. I'm not exactly sure if this is true or not, but it's what I've heard

Pretty sure this song was supposed to be in 'the paper kingdom' since the lyrics would perfectly fit in the story that the album was supposed to tell 'Parents in a support group because they lost their children in an accident' For me this song tells a story of two people talking to eachother First, Emily; a little girl 'accidentaly' killed by her mother/father And then the mother/father of Emily who 'gave her the gun' as said in the lyrics The parents probably had a gun lying around and Emily wanted to 'play' with said gun and shot herself in the head, again, as said in the lyrics Emily's soul then tells the mother to hide the corpse so no one will find out The mother/father went to the support group and explained the situation as 'the worst thing that I've ever done' and the rest is pretty clear
