Coming from a 56 year old white guy from the south who had given up on country and other genres due to the "low quality" amateurish, trash product that had been being released for more than a decade and still is for the most part, until one day I heard a Comb's song on the radio and thought "where in the world did that come from!"; I am amazed with quality of work coming from a few artists; and I'd put Wallen at the top of this short list of high quality and creativity writing and recording. I've been viewing first-time reactions lately to Wallen tracks on Youtube from rap and pop fans; and pretty much everyone, in every genre fan group, in every English-speaking country love his work. Now we can debate about whether this music constitutes country or pop or hip hop or just a unique mix of many genres; but what one can't successfully debate is the wide-spread appeal of Wallen and his team's product; and the creative uniqueness of his style and sound!
