@Sam Alison the coin count had been going down during the fight, and it had been around 200s since the start of the bowsers fight. Also when he died and respawned he got the 200s back. If the heart was there I feel like it would of killed him the 2nd time aswell as he was moving pretty slowly to make sure he didn't die.

he dropped coins when he died. if he had died to coins, his coin counter would have been at 0 so no coins would have dropped after dying

I think it could be better if the effects stack (like ror2 items) so that there’s a higher chance, the spawn rate is multiplied, or something like that.

That was something we were going to do with some of the mods but it's really really hard to balance, at some point maybe we'll do an update for the mod with a different gimmick attached

I think some challenges work better for highlights, and others work better for the paper mario story format. For this one I don't think it would have fit as well with the Paper Mario format.

The heart reminds me of the Super Mario 64 Green Demon challenge. It would be cool to see that challenge in Super Mario Odyssey but instead of red coins, you grab moon shards. Of course with a faster heart similar to the Green Demon's speed. I'm amazed that you were able to beat the game with all of those mods, good job!

What I learned from this is that you don't have enough mods. You need at least three times as many so you don't run out. Or just make it so the mods can be gotten multiple times, each time increasing the severity of the mod.

I'd love to see you do this again but with more mods or different mods. It was very fun

This was a great challenge, but can it be made worse if it can be made with more mods and duplicates are allowed? Well, getting duplicates will make the duplicated mod be more painful! Examples = Goomba Spawn v2 makes Goomba spawn faster, Coin Drain v2 makes the coin drain faster and Killer heart v2 makes the killer heart faster and/or makes two appear at the same time! You surely took your time beating Bowser but idk if the "improvements" makes the challenge easier. Incase it gets too hard there might be hard chances that the mods do revert aka it removes an activated mod (but the removed mod might return)
