Nature is neither cruel bor unfair. It just is. Deers die every year of famine, disease, or violently from predatora. That's just how it is. The deer population should always be appropriate for the environment. If there's no food, let them die. Because when you feed them you just encourage them to fuck and procreate even more. Meaning there wil be even more mouths to feed next season because nobody died last season. And that will exhaust the area's natural ressources, which will in turn create more famine the following season
