She is very good. Great control of her voice. I was a little surprised to hear all those small extras she added to the aria, but I liked it. It was good.

Beautifully stated

I think what sets her apart is that she has absorbed Callas's virtues, the musicality, the expressive use of oranmentation, the cello-like legato, the fluid coloratura, but she never apes Callas. There have been a lot of Callas imitators who truly sound ridiculous. They imitate Callas including her faults, but not her musical virtues or her genius. Lisette, I think, is a true Student of Callas. The more I listen to her, the more I adore and admire her.

That's what I observed too. She actually loves Callas.

I was there. She was stunning, surprisingly so IMO. Always loved her but I didn't expect to have a such a success in a role that I would have thought was a bit beyond her in relation to what she's sung thus far.
