I resonate with you so much with prioritizing your family so much and your husband takes the backseat. After having my son in June I realize my focus is always on the baby, and my parents because they’re getting so much older and I know my husband can handle himself. But this year I personally want to focus and love on my husband more because the energy is never reciprocated and I’m always on E and no one pours into my tank and I bend over backwards for my family/friends. I am definitely in the same place with the whole prioritizing thing. COVID hit us on Christmas Eve and my man finally got what he always asked from me and it made me realize that I really do need to put a pause on being there for everyone else before being there for my spouse and our children.

Love how real this video was. I relate a lot to Ulysses, my man doesn't really prioritize our one on one time and would constantly want friends around to have a good time. This definitely made me want to express that to my man so we can work on that part of our relationship as well ❤️

Man this really hit home, been with my husband for 13 years, and we are seriously starting to feel our relationship struggle in the sense of not prioritizing US. My husband works so much 15-18 hours a day, he has a job and on the side trying to build his plumbing company, so I hardly see him, we had to sit down and really talk about this, how to handle trying to build something and also keep our marriage a priority. This is hard man lol also with 4 kids we run in fumes. 😩

I feel that! My parents/sisters live 1 hour and 15 min away. My in laws live 12 hours away. Yet our families are besties/visit each other! We spend as much time as possible with both of them! We go to my in law's 3x a year and stay for 10 days at a time. They also come to visit us about 2x a year. We also see my parents about once a week. Even though I do not see them everyday, we are super connected.
