Io is my favourite moon in our solar system. I find it so fascinating and colourful.

I like Io, it's my top favorite out of the moons of Jupiter.

I wonder if Io also gets some of its' internal heat from radioactive decay similar to the internal heat generated inside the Earth?

Those chemically complex "sprays" must had have done wonders for distribution of essential life building blocks around the planet...

Did we find water on the moon? That statement surprised me.

Yeah mostly on south pole also little bit on north pole but all are water ice not liquid. You can check by googling Lunar water

Oh, and also we ARE getting a revolution in electronics, by switching to photonics, or rather photon computing. That would be nearly invulnerable to EM radiation, as of course photons don't have charge. And by "we are getting" I mean next 100 years ;)

Io will probably be a mining colony of sulfur for humanity in the future, not a residential colony. 5400 rem of radiation while on Io can make me dizzy and vomit more than a shaking boat or bus.

Thank you😅😅

Ok, but all knowledge of Io we have is from observing it and pictures. We don't have much real footage, except for the clip in 5:11 to 5:14. The Juno probe in a few months will get very close to Io, so we'll get more detailed pictures of it's volcanic surface.
