Beamers are the absolute worst cars on the road.

I am very much with Mr. Clarkson on the V8 noise. My high school counsellor would always rock up in his big block Chevelle SS and you could feel it in your chest as he idled by at 20-30 MPH. I hate the new mustangs, they look fat compared to the old ones and the sound is off, just flat. You can tell the engine isn't a true V8 in the cheap ones. Give me a big block V8 and less restrictive exhausts and I am very happy.

The BMW 3.0 CSL is my all-time favourite car. If I should be ever so lucky to win the National Lottery, then my first purchase will be a fully restored BMW 3.0 CSL. I keep an eye open and I saw one advertised for around £180,000 the other week. So yeah - need to win the lottery first.

@Rhys Tedstone I would not argue. Lets say you are right - then why don't we stop all government incentives on EV and let the free market to decide ;) You may not believe me but EV market is possible only because the politicians! And yes the electric motor is highly efficient - but the batteries are not! And a system is efficient as the week point of it. And don't forger fuel could be not only fossil and then and only then we have real Zero emission as only ICE allows to stop adding CO2 and circle the existing...

Electronic motors are capable of delivering torque in less time than combustion engines. Electronic motors are generally more simple than an engine, drive shafts, ect..., increasing reliability (In that regard, of course) EVs in general allow you to use the powergrid, and it's mixture of energy sources, rather than 100% fossil fuels. EVs create less noise pollution, heat, ect... However, EVs do take significantly longer to charge, are generally more expensive (Considering normal cars have had 100+ years), don't currently run the same range and require a lot of unethical / rare earth elements (depending on the composition of the batteries). However, a lot of these problems are being worked on. It's not just "political will".
