With five movies and fifteen years under his belt, Daniel Craig is officially the actor who has played James Bond for the longest time. Before he passes the torch onto the next actor to take on 007, Craig gets one last hurrah as the MI6 agent in No Time To Die.
No Time To Die definitely raises some questions though. Like is it dangerous to stand next to exploding graves? Why is that bridge perfectly designed for escapes? Is that De Niro?! How did Blofeld get and use a bionic eyeball and continue to run Spectre with it while in MI6 custody? How do nanobots work? Why did every single member of Spectre get together in one spot? What’s Safin’s deal, anyway?
To answer all these questions and more, step inside the Pitch Meeting that led to No Time To Die! It’ll be super easy, barely an inconvenience.

I waited, finally watched the movie tonight and have just come back to catch up, as it were... That bit in the end credits is weird. I thought maybe they'll get the "new 007" to take over, but, obviously, not as James Bond. But then the credits thing threw a wrench in this....

If the next 007 is a woman than this movie will be my last Bond movie (even though it was good). If they want a female spy than create a new character.

@Agent of Hydra they will do a hard reboot. Of course there will be new Bond films. But, it definitely ruined Craig's last run as Bond
Vor 4 MonateMr. Stuff Doer
@Corn Craig only returned because he thought the script was good. He felt very done with it after Spectre, considering he said he’d rather cut his own wrists than make a sequel. And considering this is the first Bond with an overarching narrative to the movies, ending like this makes sense. It closes the book on this iteration of Bond.

@maxino38 The movie at the emd hinted that Mathilde is Bond's daughter so that means Mathilde has Bonds DNA too and can infect him. Madeline infects her father via Bond. Madeline infects Mathilde. Mathilde infects Bond. Bond will only survive if he is not Mathilde Biological Father but the ending as I said was confusing - Madeline said "Not Father" but at the end the writer seems to contradict.

The "We're not so different you and I" line got me 😂 That's exactly what Dr.Evil tells Austin Powers which is in itself a parody of James Bond.

I like how people are twisting themselves into pretzels trying to justify why the EMP _didn't_ work on the nanobots, when literally every other scifi that utlized them had them vulnerable to EMPs, except perhaps the Borg nanites on Star Trek. They needed to reset the franchise. Modern day bond isn't really interesting, and there's only a few stories you can tell. They'll probably set the next film in the 60s or 70s so that they don't need to keep including the "everything can be done online, we don't need bond anymore" plot point.

The biggest problem I had with the movie was the idea that the nanobots wouldn't be affected by the EMP. Barring perhaps the Borg nanites in Star Trek, nanotechnology is literally always vulnerable to EMPs.

It's unlikely that an engaging plot has no holes in it and it's the sceenwriter's job to distract the audience from thinking about them. Still, this channel is a good acid wash for mediocre writers to make them aware of the fact audiences might be smarter than they are.
Vor 7 MonateDenis Růžička
There are ton of movies with no holes in the story. Characters just have to act rationally and situations have to be created naturally. And if it is a sci-fi or fantasy all they have to do is establish rules and then follow them(or don't establish them but then don't pretend that there are some rules). Recently Finch or Dune were done quite nicely. Writers are just lazy or prefer simplified plotlines so that the audience don't have to think too much or the writers don't know the way to show the plot in a way that is entertaining.
Vor 5 MonateLorde Drake

*Someone sometime ago:* Writing science fiction and fantasy worlds is difficult because you need to juggle being consistent, writing and sticking to rules, and making the audience believe the unbelievable. *Lazy writers across all of time and space:* No

As I watched this film in the cinema I was already picturing this Pitch Meeting. Spot on 😂
Vor 7 Monateredhotjcc
I would love to see the 1800’s pitch meeting for the movie camera.
Vor 7 MonateSorain1
See that sounds like the perfect April fools episode.
Vor 7 MonateBrad Freeland
"I'm glad you asked... Anyway." I sense a new catch phrase just happened. Also, "because...nanobots." LOL

Pitch meeting is the only thing keeping this channel alive

It never occurred to me that Nomi essentially killed Bond by killing the only scientist who could have helped him lol.
Vor 7 MonateKarifi
@Stormfather James bond owner said James Bond will never be a woman. He always be a British man. But he can be other ethnicity, like black or indian(born in UK of course)
Vor 18 TageDocD22
@mrbejam he didn’t even say anything racist. He said he could kill her whole people or something like that. Which is true. Seemed like he was trying to show how important he was to avoid being killed? Bad strategy.
Vor 4 MonateDocD22
It was obvious to me as soon as she did it. But not in terms of bond, simply….the world.

"super easy... barely an inconvenience" - best quote ever! 😂

I cried so much with this movie... I loved it

"sometimes when we leave stuff for future us, future us tends to drop the ball" I knew he would say something eventually that describes my life.
Vor 4 MonateCassius3388
"Then it says James Bond will return." "As a zombie?" SSSSSOOOO FUNNY!!!!!

"When we leave things to future us, sometimes future us drops the ball" So much truth...

I really felt attacked by this comment 🤣
Vor 7 MonateJohn D
This comment killed me.
Vor 7 MonateRonnet
For some reason I immediately had to think about the pirates of the Caribbean franchise while hearing that line.
Vor 7 MonateThe Muffin Man
The nano bots that Bond got poisoned with at the end were actually designed to kill anyone that he touched. So him rather dying made sense.
Vor 7 MonateRafael Larios
@Joshua i understand what You said... But the insurance part is what he actually said in the movie.
Vor 6 MonateJoshua
@Rafael Larios wasnt great insurance because there was no threat behind it because the relevant parties had no idea it existed.
Vor 6 MonateRafael Larios
Not anyone.. it was designed specifically for Swan and its kin... that was the villian "insurance"

This was an awesome break down🤣😂

My old man's review (he gave to me the day after he saw it, and none of it was sarcastic): "You know how most of the Bond movies have a story going through it? Well, this one seemed like it was all action." lol... the thing is HE LOVED IT
Vor 6 MonateBart Zed
lol, I'd love to see the reaction of the actual people who had to make that pitch in real life
Vor 4 MonateBright Fox
I watched the movie just to watch its pitch meeting. Made my day.
Vor 6 MonateNunesSan
I really need to try this one with my customers, "those are all very good questions sir and I'm glad you asked...anyway" and then continue as if it was nothing.
Vor 6 MonateMrJeffcoley1
I love the long, long stunned silence from producer guy when he hears James Bond dies in the end.
Vor 7 MonateTheBlackKnight
@kamchatmonk Why are we still here? Just to suffer?
Vor 7 MonateKenneth N Webb
@Busy Bee if you haven't seen the movie..common sense dictates that clicking on a video about the movie will have spoilers....but the numbnuts from earlier couldn't take see ah joke....i should stop now...I'm sounding mean
Vor 7 MonateBusy Bee
@Kenneth N Webb I was only gonna watch a little bit 😝 and then stop. And then know it anyways because of social media, general buzz and oh yeah: super obvious movie title ^^.
Vor 7 MonateKenneth N Webb
@Busy Bee the big S at the start of the video wasn't enough

Damn you Youtube for highlighting this spoiler comment 😛.

Vor 7 MonateSimon Hansen
@artman2oo3 It sure is.
Vor 7 Monateartman2oo3
@Simon Hansen That sequence is TIGHT!
Vor 7 MonateSimon Hansen
@artman2oo3 Huh, usually, the sequence goes: "Oh, really?" and then I explain all the trivial reasons for why the solution is as bare-bones as it is.
Vor 7 Monateartman2oo3
@Simon Hansen Wow wow wow wow wow Wow!
Vor 7 MonateSimon Hansen
@RoboSteave Actually, super easy, barely an inconvenience.
Vor 7 MonateAdam Simonsen
Please do a pitch meeting on Gods of Egypt! I feel like there are so many scenes that the conflict should be very difficult to overcome, but they are super easy, barely an inconvenience.

I immediately played this after watching the movie. These videos are a catharsis for every head scratching moment in a movie. Thanks 🙏
