Yo so at 7:00 the problem is now partially solved since apple introduced Live Text feature on iPad OS 15 and iOS 15. So like if you want to copy and paste other stuff from same article you don't have to take screenshot and then copy again and again. Now you can just take a screenshot once and copy the text directly from it, or just instead of opening safari on the right side you can just open up photos with the screenshot of safari page and it serves same functionality with the Live Text feature ready to be used.

By far the best explainer. I've used Google tablets and phones for years and just switched. Please keep us noobs in mind when you make videos and give even the simplest tips and tricks. Never assume I know how to cut-and-paste or multi-task.

Harris, have you noticed when the magic keyboard is attached to the iPad and you either open or start a new page something weird happens! I start typing either landscape or portrait when I tap the space bar it will move the cursor up in the toolbar from text to the arrow to go back to the home page. I am unable to use the space bar on a page with the magic keyboard. If I use the virtual keyboard everything works fine. What am I doing wrong?

Since you use paperlike screen protector...doesn't that diminish your viewing of movies or media on the tablet?

The straight line feature would have made taking notes in Economics way easier. iPad 1 didn’t have it and it was a pain.

Hi, thanks for bringing this video! Is 32GB iPad 8 enough for a collage student to record the lecture, take notes, and download electronic books？

My dad has an ipad with 32g and he only uses it for FaceTime Netflix and honestly abort 32 gb. At least 64 or 128 is solid but 32 is definitely not enough. iPads are expensive but it’s worth spending a little more and have it last longer due to more storage for all your things.

If you are going to take notes only then I would suggest buying the iPad Air 3 2019 as it has the similar chip as the iPad 8.

My old iMac broke recently and has to be done away with. I recently got iPad Pro 2021 12.9 inch (pretty darn expensive in my country India due to taxation and all..you can get the 256 GB variant of the same in US at the same price). So I decided to sell just the iMac (monitor per se) and keep the magic keyboard and Magic Mouse since those are working perfectly fine. I bought the ESR sentry keyboard 2021 version (better than the 2020 one which had pretty weak magnets) and I am planning to use the iMac keyboard and Magic Mouse with my new iPad Pro. This way I can save my hard earned bucks !! Hope that this set up helps and I need not spend a fortune again to get the magic keyboard !!

I cant remember the name of it, but the black stylus he showed looks very similar to one I bought a while back. I will try and find the name of it and put in an edit, with a warning NOT to buy it. (If its the one I’m thinking of. Looks very similar.) Edit: its not the one, but seriously, just get one of the Apple pencils. They aren’t perfect, but they’re close, and at least you know it’ll work.

When converting Apple Pencil handwritten notes to text in Apple Notes I always get something like an ‘0’ before the text. I’m guessing this is wrong because the videos I’ve watched don’t show this have . Any idea of a fix
