Charles was so lucky to have his mother by his side till the age of 73...it's truly a blessing

@E R prince 🤴 Philip was the Queen husband rock and support being a widow at 94 when she loss him was hard for her to deal with within 6 months after his death her health started to decline in October 2021 the Queen lived to see and celebrate her platinum jubilee in June 2022 but the Queen if she hadn't had died last month she never been able to do Royal engagements in the public eye the Queen had to retire from public life due to mobility and her declining health.

I think so as well, when Philip passed away, the love of her life was gone. She started to loose weight so quickly, and then she got COVID, and I don't think she could ever recover from her grief. Maybe she just wanted to be with him and her family again. My grandpa loved to be 100. And even then it wasn't enough time. It is never enough time. You always wish for just one more minute, or even a second to see them, hug them, or hear their voice, just one last time. My dad died at 63, my mom at 70, my grandma when I was 6. At 38, I have lost everyone I was related to. It is just me now. I am lucky i have my husband. My heart goes out to the royal family.

King Charles 3 was lucky to have both he parents who lived to a very grand old age but sometimes l used to things they lived to a old age because they were living a very privilege life style they didn't have the stresses and strains of the real world they were protected also they had their children and grandchildren who bothered about them and visted them it sad 😭 king Charles 3 lost both he parents in a space of a year from each other but the Queen probably couldn't cope with being a widow in her 90s she was stoic and tried to cope without her husband prince Philip but her life wasn't the same without him .

I'm from Brazil but this brings tears to my eyes. I'm not even that much into the royal family but all of this has so much meaning. The Queen mean a lot to so many people. I lost my grandmother in the begging of this year and my family (a big one) felt it sooo hard. My grandpa has passed away a long time ago and only my grandmother was left, but she had an entire different meaning to our family, as she was the brave mother who had to do pretty much everything to take care of all of her 7 children (as my grandfather was not a very good husband and would cause lota of trouble to the family). She raised her 7 children, now they have children, and they have children as well, so my grandmother was already a great grandmother. My whole family would reunite together at her house and we had lots of great and happy memories with her, at her house. She was truly the queen of our family. When we lost her it was like it was not real, as she was so strong and went through a lot and would always come back to us. Now I can only imagine how hard it is to loose a grandmother but also a grandmother to a whole country. It's sad, I mean, how everything comes to an end and so many history was created and now all that's left are memories. No, I'm wrong. My grandmother and The Queen left a legacy to lots of people and we will never forget them! R.I.P Queen Elizabeth! R.I.P Grandma! 💔

The lowering of the casket is so incredibly sad. I lost my niece in April and when they lowered her casket into the ground I wanted to throw myself in there. It was heartbreaking. I feel for the Royal family. You can see how much pain they are in. Rest in Peace your Majesty.

This video made me very emotional. I lost my mom to cancer 1.5 yrs ago. She was 95, but it hurt. She was from Canada, and loved the royal family. She would be very sad at the Queen’s passing. Despite all the controversy in the family, people in my parents’ generation knew a family that helped lift morale in WWII and also got out there and worked for the war effort. An era has ended.

Must say, that is the first time that I've seen Charles actually appear to have feelings. You could see the sadness in his eyes, although far more composed than when I lost my Mother. As an American, I generally don't follow the royals, although I did admire the late Queen, but I found this celebration of her life very touching.

It's the royal training. From an early age they are taught to never show emotion in public. Apparently if the Queen was seen frowning at an event it was because something was moving her emotionally and she was trying to suppress it. At one time it wasn't the English thing to get emotional in public, no matter what social strata one came from. According to the late, great Victoria Wood, a typical English woman's response to the death of her husband use to be "Seventy two baps, Connie. You slice, I'll butter". Meaning that her first thought would be to start making sandwiches for the wake.

HM Charles III almost lost it as she was lowered and then during the anthem. You see the tear welling in his eyes. That will always stick with me as the moment it started to hit him. It was just not a funeral but history to be remembered ever after. She deserved this great funeral ceremony. As an American who is usually pretty indifferent to the British Royal family, seeing her being lowered into the vault and the single bagpipes slowly retreat while playing truly broke my heart. It is always so very hard to lose a parent. One's heart breaks and life keeps going on. My own Mother died at 100 years old and I miss her every day. Yes 70 year long rule over United Kingdom from 1952 to 2022, that makes her the longest rulling british monarch, when Victoria ruled for 67 years and now she is second in having the longest rule over great britain. She started her rule as 26 years old and ended it as 96 year old. I think Charles third will rule for maxium of 20 years, when he is already so old, like the same thing with the king after Victoria who was also so old by then, when Victoria ruled for so long.

I watched with heavy heart and tears as my Queen was laid to rest. This morning I watched through tears as my darling mum was laid to her rest. Yet, I am drawn back again to this moment to mourn them both.

It takes a great deal of self restraint to hold it together when billions or eyes are upon you. The pall bearers did a marvelous job carrying the Queen, great work to everyone who made Her Majesty's send off a historic moment. Some people are criticizing all these are just shallow "pageantries", but my God, this is more than that. I am not British but i could not have been more proud and envious of their unity and love for their queen and their nation. Very rare to see these days. I'm proud to be part of the Commonwealth. RIP Your Majesty 🙏❤️

My mother died in my arms...royalty or not...it hurts to lose your mom

This ceremony was so poignant, I felt very emotional. I’m not Christian, but I studied in a Christian school throughout, here in India. The queen visited our school in 1984, and I was in the welcome group. She was so sweet, when we garlanded her and put tilak (vermilion dot) on her forehead, she so gracefully thanked us for the warm welcome. Can never forget that moment and day. Rest in eternal peace, ma’am! Love and regards, from India 🌺🌺

This was the hardest part of the entire funeral to watch. To know Queen Elizabeth has left this world, and by seeing the coffin lowered. And hearing the bagpipes playing to fade. Made me so sad. God rest her soul.

What a magnificent tribute to Queen Elizabeth for so many days. All the beautiful people who showed their beautiful gratitude to her and to the family. The citizens of the whole Commonwealth are so compassionate. The Queen’s family is beyond gracious, caring and stoic. And Charlotte and George were so dear. Just can’t say enough for the millions that were involved. God bless each and everyone of them.

I can see the pain and sadness in Charles's eyes. Losing your mother is tough on anyone.

I think she was the epitome of what a monarch should be. Devoted her life to the crown and her subjects. I really feel for her family as, even though she felt as though she was the mother of our commonwealth nations, she was their mother and grandmother who sacrificed so much to do her duty. The will only be one Queen Elizabeth the 2nd.
