Hey WSJ! Thank you for putting subtitles instead of voice-overs for foreign languages, it's much more transparent as a journalistic practice I find, and it also allows whoever actually speaks that language among your audience to not feel a very unique sort of frustration. 😜
So proud of the Ukrainian Warfighters and of my HIMARS and MLRS systems!!! I was a Battalion Master Gunner for a HIMARS Battalion, 22 years of service and I have fired the M270 and M142 on Three Continents and during combat operations . I wish I could tell you more about the capabilities and firepower that some of the family of munitions that these MLRS Platforms can use! But I have signed NDAs and not at liberty to say….. these systems are amazing! I have also trained Ukrainians in the past several years and I can’t tell you how proud I am of the men and women of Ukraine that are fighting! The were the smartest, most motivated, and most willing to learn that I have ever trained. So happy to see them fight the way they do!! I hope they keep giving Russia what they deserve!!! Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦!!!
I'm proud of Ukraine's military and civilians. As much as we in the USA have done so far, we're in the process greatly expanding support with high technology weapons. Putin, you ain't seen nothing yet! Slava Ukraini!
We thank the people of the USA for their support, help and understanding!
HIMARS Maybe the best in its weapon category currently but give credits to the Ukrainian men and women! They are smart, resilient and courageous they are optimizing the weapon to its max potential!
This is the positive outcome of giving military support to a country that has the will to fight. Ukraine has shown the world that Russia is a paper tiger. I look forward to Ukraine`s eventual victory.
This time I am really proud for the help of US to Ukraine ,Those donated HIMARS in Ukrainians hands are the best tax dollars spend for security and protection of USA and whole democratic West world.
May God bless the United States and the people who live there ✨✨✨ I don't know what future awaits us, but I hope that we will be able to thank you for giving us a chance to save our country. I pray for your happiness 💗
Key feature that wasn't discussed regarding the MLRS (HIMARS) systems is precision.
Ukraine received 16 HIMARS. The Russian military claim they destroyed 44 of them 😂😂
Stay strong Ukraine, God bless US...
God bless the Ukrainian people and Gold help them in their fight…🙏
M982 Excalibur is a fantastic weapon too. Easily deployed in existing artillery.
Given the recent success of Ukrainian victories, and a few key comments from Ukrainian forces as to being fully equipped with plenty of ammunition, it is a great thing to see that Ukraine is being given enough support to push Russia back to it's borders. It's also good to see how Russians no longer support Putin, the man behind this madness.
From far away... never thought I'd feel such deep admiration for the US in its conduct of
Blessings, peace and luck from California to Ukraine 🙏🙏✌🍀💛💙
Feels a bit poignant seeing the cross and other trinkets that the soldiers hung in the cabin.
Love soft and common voices of Ukrainian soldiers! They really love their HIMARS. I must learn some language and visit Ukraine after their victory.
Brilliant to see that these systems really are making all the difference on the front lines.
This is just a small number of the HIMARS systems the US currently has available - and these systems are "only" 80km (50mi) range. The US has more of these systems and some with almost 500km (300mi) range. Just think what Ukraine could do with more of these.
