It's so sad that you have to have a boyfriend during high school to be accepted by others, expecially by friends. I'm so proud that I've never had a boyfriend during high school: now I'm adult and I can live the love consciously.

@Antinea I personally wasn't "fortunate" to be labeled one of the popular girls. I actually didn't have my first real BF until I was 18 and a freshman in college. Took me years to realize that teens aren't really missing out on ANYTHING by not dating in high school. The relationships among my peers would last about 1-3 months at best. Only about 5% of them lasted a lifetime.

I didn't have a boyfriend in high school. I got asked out by boys a lot, (and accepted dates from decent, worthy boys,🤷‍♀️) but I didn't have a steady boyfriend. I didn't need to get caught up in the drama and messiness involved in teen relationships. Plus, I had too much going on. School, work, activities, both in school and out of school, responsibilities at home, plans to go to college and move out, and other post-high school plans. And ppl liked me just fine. In fact, ppl admired me more BECAUSE I wasn't worried about having a boyfriend.

I never had a girlfriend during high school and I felt great about that because I was able to hang out with my friends and not be restricted by a girl. I don't really want a relationship unless it is arranged by God for me.

What I like about my friend group is that we are all in high school and we are all pretty single and we always support each other on everything we never pressure each other to do something we don't want to do.

it Shouldn't matter if you have never had a relationship. Having someone pressure you into just shows you that they can't be supportive in ways that will help you figure out the time when you'r read to start dating.
