thought the same with the candles. When I watched a vid of Tom Felton talking about the movies he said that the candles where on fishing strings and I immediately though "so it has to be fake fire right? They can't be that stupid to hang a real candle on to a fishing string and light it and not expect that it will burn the string instantly right?" turns out I was wrong. How can there be this much incompetence in the world?

@StrivingFor Mindfulness I hope they learned their lesson on the set (production teams, not actors)... They were literally playing with fire and didn't have tought too much about the consequences. In the first movie we need to remember that CGI was quite limited but in later movies they definitely could have fixed things with CGI.
