Guy is a standup person. I regret to say I was one of those that originally judged him for his flames bowling shirts and 90s hair, but I started watching GGG and then DDD and I have to say he's an amazing host and just a good guy. Never says an unkind thing about anyone. This was a great episode!

I just noticed that Guy was giving some constructive criticism there when Sean asked how he helps a Chef feel comfortable before going on camera. Guy’s response was “I don’t know, I get th shitty wings and tell them they can’t wear black.” That’s DEFINITELY what the hot ones team did. 😂 this show has come a long way!

What I find incredible is that they kept it in. That takes some courage to publicly show your own faults. More recently, I've seen a couple of guests mention how good the wings are. Sean said to thank the chef who was an in house chef. It looks like they took that criticism to heart since this interview.

Was never a fan of Guy until I find out how much he helps common ppl and the amount he donates .. makes me realize this guy is actually a pretty amazing human being

In professional kitchens, you deal with people all the time who got an idea of what cooking professionally was like from watching the food network. Glorifying something that isn’t very glorious doesn’t do anybody any good. I don’t begrudge anybody Fame and fortune, though. And since I posted this, my respect for Guy has grown even further. Omg I have that ghost pepper blueberry sauce! It's pretty decent on its own, but I added butter and honey to it for a wing sauce a few times, and it was hands down one of the best wing sauces I've had. That stuff is magic.

Guy was great, would love to run into him one day. Was so impressed when we supported the first responders during and after that huge fire in northern California. Kudos to a very classy guy. Also been great to watch the boys grow into wonderful men he and his wife should be very proud.

When I heard him so sincerely say, "Teach your kids to cook" , I was so, so touched and happy. It is truly scary to me how many people I know who don't know you can make pancakes if you are out of baking mix. Or how many of my kid's friends come to my house who next to never have a true home cooked meal. It is absolutely a life skill.

Both of these guys went through this like there wasn’t insanely hot sauce involved at all. I have to say, there is really only one reigning champion on this show, and that’s Sean. The guys that come on and do it with no problem are impressive, but Sean does it every single time and he follows the lead of whomever he’s interviewing. If they put more on, so does he. If they drink milk or water, so does he. Much respect.

I learned to cook breakfast (fried eggs/bacon/toast) standing on a stool over a naphtha camp stove including lighting it at 6. I could cook a kick ass beef stew at 7.... when we got to home ec class when I was 12 the teacher said show me what you can do. Cooking is fun! Teach your kids, if you're not sure watch YouTube videos together and try things. Some things will taste better than others but the love that went into the dish will make even epic fails ok. (For the most part, sometimes you have to say good try! and order a pizza. Food poisoning is no game LOL.)

You guys really do your homework for your guests. Did you see the episode of diners, drive ins and dives when he tried the 666 wings? Season 14 ep 6. It's no wonder he didn't need anything to drink. He'd already burned his pallet and his crew's off. Great moment on the show. He was prepared for your wings. I'm new to watching your show and slowly working through your back log. Love it! ❤️‍🔥

So this is 4 years overdue… made that queso and put some of the hot ones sauce on it (on the side not for the ppl I made it for) it was FIRE. Miller lite is the beer I dribble into it. Not sure how much he wanted into it so I just put a quarter of a shot. But it does make a difference! It’s very good!

By far the best episode of this series I've ever seen! Strictly because of fieri's closing message. TEACH YOUR KIDS! Granted, I ran away from home at 15. But, I really never attempted to actually cook until I was 33. I survived on frozen, cold cuts and canned foods aside from Sundays. I could grill. Sunday was the day I would light up coal and grill. Nowadays, I utilize the stove and oven. I avoid the microwave unless I'm broke or desperate. LEARN TO COOK! SAVE MONEY! EAT GOOD! Guy ain't lying. Wish I had learned this earlier in life.

I think it's because he knows it's easy to send money, but that it's better for everybody if he used his skills as a chef. That way at least he knows he's making a direct contribution that actually makes a difference. A good meal is good for focus.
