Ppl whining about 35ms probably are illiterate. Riot has already mentioned artificial 35 ms has caused 60~70ms in real latency and had to readjust ping to actually match 35ms. Here's the exact quote from the Riot. Please try to Google at least before you whine :-) No, with the latency tool enabled, there is a bug which will result in incorrect reported ping. Players in Busan will have a reported ping that is approximately 13 ms lower than actual ping. So RNG players will see ~37 ms, and Busan players will see ~24 ms, but the actual latency will be equivalent.

@Cracker Jack I know, as a Chinese player (as u can see from my pinyin structured name) I love to watch RNG competes in person in the tournament and I understand that playing in home provides totally advantageous conditions. Back in LPL there were teams acing in online matches and perform poorly in person. But kinda think about it, if the decision is to not invite RNG in the first place, I think it would be fair to all teams. Instead, Riot picked the solution to incorporate a universal 35ms, which already triggered discussion about unfairness and favourism. Therefore, I think errors like reporting a lower latency should be announced on an advance manner to distinguish doubtful attentions from crowds.

Like how RNG complained about how inconvenienced they are to have to take a nucleic acid test when every other team has a long drive, is on site, and has to test as well, among other things. All the Chinese apologists for this debacle miss the mark. The feel on the artificial ping side of the match is way worse than having natural 35 ping and that’s just terrible to hear as a fan. That’s why we are upset. We are upset because all the advantages go to RNG plus they get to play from the comfort of home with no inconveniences or referees either.

@Last Guidepost it's the adjusted ping since when they put the in-game ping at 35, actual ping was higher due to the ping gain in the local server It was the reason RNG had to play the 3 extra games since in those games, they had set the in game ping to 35 but in actuality, the experienced ping was higher for the players

Riot faulty artificial ping create a lot of package loss. So when set to 35ms but in actual play 50% of package sent is loss which make real respond 2x higher to 50-60ms. They work around it by set it to 20ms to make to respond like 35-40ms. This is why Group B has to replay.
