I really hate to see Grant leave. But once you start getting serious about starting a family, you've got to focus on a stable lifestyle. I see Grant becoming one of the top teaching pros in Florida. I'm very happy for him.

I agree, sometimes other things take precedent over business, I think he wants to be closer with his Mom and Dad too as they get older....he would be a very good teaching pro.

That is kinda the problem, I suspect. He let a bunch of corporate asshats tale the place over and walk all over everyone.

Bubbie can have his own opinion but shouldn't judge others for wanting to follow their own path or what their heart tells them. Who knows what other reasons Grant decided to leave (ie family). If you're a true friend and brother you wish the man the best and support him in whatever direction he ultimately decides to take in life.

You guys struck lightning in a bottle and it was a pleasure to watch especially during Covid. Tough to keep the band together with everyone’s lives pulling them in different directions. Best of luck to everyone!

I'm absolutely gutted about this, and I personally feel that the dynamic of the group will suffer dramatically, losing Micah was a massive blow, but losing Grant as well is in my opinion devastating, I hope they can retrieve it but at the moment I can't see it. These guys have helped me get through some of the toughest times in my life, and I pray they get through this tough time 🙏

Agreed, Grant was a massive part of Good Good. His positive attitude and smile always made the videos great. And let's not forget how great of a golfer he is.

No matter what I’ll support all the boys, been watching since day one and I can honestly say each one of the boys has taught me something. Good good will continue to be one of the best golf channels in the world!

I remember when this channel was private and you could not even find it when looking it up. I must have been one of the first 1k subs I swear. To see you guys come this far - is nothing short of amazing. The momentum feels bigger now then ever before. Even with "Bro 5" or whatever the core group pushed on and kept going - and now look. I have nothing but the absolute hype for Good Good and any project Matt, Stephen, Garrett, and crew are in.

And now 8 months later, GoodGood has new members, AJ and Brad. Change is inevitable but I really believe you guys will remain successful. I enjoy following Grant and Micah too. It’s all good. Good.

What I love so much about the Good Good videos is the banter between the golfers and the camera guys. They are all a close family.

Watching their vlogs, I not once got the impression that they wanted to leave the brand, but that life was pulling them in a different direction than they wanted to go with Good Good. Bubbie's comments are funny, Grant helped do all of the GGLabs videos, helped members out with their swings and gave lessons, put a lot of time into GM Golf videos with Garrett, whilst Bubbie turns up 1 week per month, then goes back to doing whatever he wants for 3 weeks other than working on his game.

Bubbie is my favorite but he did have an oddly aggressive take on this. I just recently go into golf like 6 months ago and without knowing how the channel formed, I assumed Good Good was started by Garret and Grant because they seemed to be the two faces that popped up in all their content

Bubbie and Steve both appear to be ok dudes, but neither seem to really care about golf all that much, they're just in it for the paycheck. I think Matt cares, but he's like Marmite.

Bubbies point was is that Garret took them from nothing and helped them grow and they left. And yes there’s nothing wrong with leaving and doing your own thing I don’t blame grant. I think bubbie is saying that he should’ve thought about it more

He invites Grant in, and they seem closer than brothers and traveling the world doing what they love - golf. From what I've seen, Garrett is a generous person. Must feel like betrayal at this point. There’s nothing in life more important than building a family with a souse you love. Work, hobbies, money, etc are all ancillary and insignificant compared. You’ll (hopefully) understand that one day. When you look into the eyes of your first born child (if you’re lucky enough) you’ll understand what really matters.

I think it was very important for you all to verbalize and talk about how these decisions affected you (good good). Good work showing a generation of young men (and women, especially the young men) that talking about feelings openly and expressing emotion is: a) normal 2) mentally helpful and D) a way to accept and process. I applaud this video in general for its raw, personal, genuine content. Cheers to you all, I'm sorry for the loss of two Good Good partners, friends, ... Brothers in all this. This is the only thing that rubbed me a bit sketchy haha. I remember when they first added him officially, I checked out his channel he had like no videos and a few thousand subs. He grew his channel and brand and dipped. Micah had already had a big following and left gm before and told us he wants to go pro. Pretty honest the whole time.

This is too bad, but it's not the end of the world. These guys are young and things are ever evolving. It's comforting to have a stable group, but as a viewer, I like the idea of members coming and going. I'm sure someday they may come back or they can colab in the future. It sucks but you move on and forward. I will say I feel Good Good has done more for golf than the LIV tour.

I was a server at topgolf for them all the time Micah and Grant and Matt were always the nicest people no matter if a camera was there or not Garrett Bubbie and Steven while I love there videos were always very rude even to the point I stopped wanting to serve them. Micah touched on Bubbies cursing and not liking his personality seems like he couldn’t get over it sometimes people disagree and can’t work together it happens. And Grant, good for Grant when rewatching his video with his dad you see the true Grant and what I saw at Topgolf all the time he loves family and wants to be in Florida throw whatever you want at me family comes before work. Good for Micah doing his own thing and good for Grant going to support his family also both are married I wouldn’t be surprised if Matt is next your wife is the most important person in your life the others don’t get it yet and it’s ok.

Out of all the guys, I am not too surprised. I think the creative differences plays a big part. I think they both want to focus more on the golf side of things and not things like spinning the wheel to use some other form of club to hit the ball, etc. It’s better to be your true self then to be someone you’re not. I hope you guys will work together though and create content in the future.

There comes a time when you have to leave the frat house and explore other avenues of life. This basically was what it was. And I'm sure it will happen with other guys in the future too.

It will be interesting to see if Good Good can recapture the chemistry that was there when Tig and Grant were part of the channel. It was noticeably different after Tig left. It will be totally different without Grant

I’ll just say this. There’s an “announcement” coming January 3rd. Good good is going a certain direction and grant didn’t want to go that direction. It’s not rocket science to realize that the two guys that were golf focused, and wanted to focus solely on the game are gone… the guys that are left are “challenge” guys, they’re “content” focused more than just the game.

well if they were all smart they should have just stayed with this social media golf thing. I honestly doubt micah or grant are going to have anywhere close to the opportunities they could have if they ran with this and made it a legacy company. now its a thing where its going to get disbanded and forgotten about. rather than a start up company that could have turned into a beginner friendly social media/golf equipment leader. Now there's no way.

@@CB-rv2lj idk I actually enjoy both parts of golf YouTube, the challenges bring a little fun to it. But I also love the tips and tricks, like what grant does with teaching and good good labs. There’s also a good space for straight up matches and scores. Look at George, look at Rick shiels, look at Peter finch etc. there’s room for both and I feel like they just had creative differences.

Clark is a stand-up dude, i just don't get why you would leave someone who is so humble and nice. I just don't get it. Grant was someone who just grew on you the more you watched his personality. So quirky and funny. I think everyones game evolved as well both professionally and personally. I like these guys and wish everyone the best. I felt there was going to be a time when money may have caused a rift based on the amount of people in good good. At first I thought GoodGood was only Grant and Garrett and then found out there was llike 6 or more people. Just wished the brand didn't grow so fast and that we could continue to enjoy the building of relationships over a longer period of time. Either way, love this channel because its the quality of character of these gentlemen that truly shine even above their golfing ability. Best of luck

I know the feeling, I left my brothers after we built our band up from nothing and right as it was taking off my wife and I found out we were expecting a son. It’s the hardest decision but once you know, you know - brothers are brothers forever but if your heart changes, you’re weighing them down living a life that’s not for you anymore. How you boys react will prove to be the deciding factor on whether or not Good Good will continue to succeed - don’t ever run your brothers through the mud for making the hard decisions, Grant and Micah leaving was for the best.

There are major venture capitalists behind GG. The Founder/CEO of GG is Matt Kendrick. He also founded the fishing group Googan Squad. He has other venture capitalist partners involved in GG. The GG boys are the band. The men behind the curtain are the financiers and managers. According to Kendrick, Only 20% of the revenue is from YouTube. Roughly 70% is from apparel. Venture capitalists create bands like GG and Googan Squad because they want to create a huge brand for commercial sales within a lifestyle sport or hobby. GG is launching golf clubs next. According to the GG founder and CEO, they also want to open fixed locations. It would be something in the genre of Top Golf. There likely are two LLCs. One for video content and promotion and one for apparel, merchandise, and brick and mortar. The venture capitalists likely have a bigger stake in the apparel, merchandise, and brick and mortar because it requires a lot of capital to fund goods and services. Micah and Grant probably left because they didn't want to sell their souls any further in the commercialization of the band and push more and more products upon an impressionable audience. This entire GG brand was launched in September 2020. Venture capitalists have seized upon pandemic entertainment and a captive audience. The story we were told was full of errors of omission. Always look for the men behind the curtain. Now you can understand why Google pushes GG so hard. It's a well orchestrated operation with very well connected financial backers in the YouTube space. The people who appear on screen are the "talent." The financiers are the managers and operators who got involved to push the commercialization of a lifestyle brand. YouTube pushes these type of groups because the live action network for the brand is YouTube. The brand is synonymous with YouTube.

I feel it's pretty simple. Who can build a brand or channel within this squad? Garrett (obviously), Micah, and Grant. Matt is almost there. Bubbie isn't going to have a serious golf channel away from Good Good. Bubbie is comfortable and grateful for his opportunity with GG, but Grant and Micah wanted control of their own career paths. Steve will ride till the very end with Garrett. That was the dynamic of the squad. 3 alphas and a couple tag-alongs. Makes obvious sense that the original alpha of GG is the one who stays.
