@SE Asian did you not read... okay let me say it again im a professional performer i have an agent and ive been on radio and idina has one of the most controlled and steady voices ive heard that is more important than "sounding good" conveying emotion is what matters idina used to be able to hit every one of those notes but as i said she is a broadway performer and uses her voice so often that it has slowly started fading dont say she isnt a good singer because she is if she isnt as good as she was before than thats a different story but she still is one of the most talented actresses and singers she has a great range, good vibrato, and a stable and sturdy voice you are downgrading her effort to sound that way it takes years of training to sound that great there was a point where idina's voice sounded like lorens but that time has passed you seriously cant believe that someone's voice will stay the same forever do you? all im saying is dont shade her till youve learned to hit those notes and gone through all the excessive training she has to get to where she is

@warwoods Both BGT and AGT started letting non-citizens perform years ago. It does seem disingenuous, but this and all the singing contest shows in the US and UK also became more like marketing test promotions of pros than genuine amateur singer competitions several years ago. You should see the true unknown great amateur singers who show up for the auditions at shows like AGT and BGT who never get on TV. I auditioned once in NYC and saw them practicing. I think these shows are already cast before they even do the first auditions that aren’t in front of TV judges. It’s such a tough business, it’s a wonder anyone gets a break. She deserves more exposure. This is just a cheap way to them to promote someone. Launching her as an unknown solo artist would cost them millions and because she’s not young, nobody in the business wants to spend the money. I bet Simon has already arranged a recording contract for her. I’m happy for her but feel like you in that it smacks of unfairness to all the talented people who have no connections at all looking for exposure. I really loved her performance though and I’m glad to see her getting more recognition.

ive seen alot of people say "it doesnt sound like it does in the movie" no its doesnt. in the movie there is alot of editing to fit the actress and whatnot but this is raw unedited live and her singing deserves to be known instead of behind the scenes. she deserves it, and she will do huge things in the music industry instead of being behind the curtain.

The reason they say this is because this is in a different key to the original. this is slightly lower than the original. This is completely understandable as this is a live performance and many singers want 100 percent confidence that they can hit every note as well for vocal health. She still sounds amazing as is definitely the real thing.

How can she be surprised at any of the reactions of us all ? How humble she is! Her voice is not only amazing, but her performance takes us on the emotional journey with her.

Imagine having your voice praised but as someone elses… having to watch the actress and character get this reaction every day for your voice and no one even knows its you. To stand up there and finally get the same reaction for yourself, people finally recognizing YOU.. that’s the most powerful thing someone could feel in this situation.

Started watching Loren’s YouTube videos from when she was in college I think and sang with a friend who went by the YouTube name “Skuby”. Loved her voice and loved their duets. Glad she has made a successful career doing what she is so good at!

Therefore you wouldn't know who sang what. That's why Michael Buble had to search her out. Watch what he says as Loren Allred and Michael are both in the recording studio.
