Dude I swear my grandma doesn't understand the concept of receiving texts. I can text her and then damn near a month later I get a call from her saying that she missed my call. I never called. Her husband takes about two hours to make a single message and I've kinda just outright refused to talk to them on the phone or over text because of how painful the whole ordeal is. The reason I don't really speak to them is a whole other thing but the complete misunderstanding of modern tech while saying they understand it perfectly is absolutely stupid and annoys the crap out of me.
