Same issue with my home airport. There was a time during my take off roll and was about to hit my Vr speed and suddenly a fox run out from the side if the runway and head toward me and I had no choice but to rotate a bit sooner but stay in ground effect just to avoid the collision. I was in a C172 and hitting it would be a big big problem. After the incident, I let the tower know cause there was a airliner behind me approaching to land.

I'm not a pilot, ATC, etc. and have literally nothing to do with aviation with minimal interest in it. However after watching dozens of these videos I have learned a few things: 1. Pilots and ATC's are **usually** some of the most professional people around 2. Planes can have failures at any time and I won't ever want to fly again 3. Air China has terrible communication devices 4. New York and LA are terrible places to fly into/out of 5. I don't like French accents.

Exercise caution. There's only a one-letter difference between "fox" and "FOD".

Doesn't TTN handle a fair number of business jets? Just have to order a raw steak from one of the companies or restaurants that caters for the corporate jets. Maybe with luck they will "accidentally" charge it to someone's bill.

@James Taylor hahaha, good point - whilst acknowledging the 'flying foxes'.... however, neither do deer fly, but there was that incident around 3 years ago when a plane taking off from Charlotte hit a small deer which threw it up as it ran over it and which then pierced their wing tank and they came in for an emergency landing and evacuated on the runway with fuel gushing out of the ruptured wing tank. So they can be a danger to the planes?

Fun fact: few foxes fly. (They might help control rodents and birds, though. Which wouldn't be all bad.)
