It’s a treat to watch it as a single, very extended episode. Also, you really appreciate how much work is involved in repairing, modifying, refinishing and reassembling a higher-end car. Personally, I ♥️ the new paint. You won’t lose it in an airport car park. I’m always very interested in BHP and at very least a remap. It’s as good as free extra power, obv it costs on fuel, but only when you bury the pedal into the shag pile. Stage I is usually not noticeable until you drive it in anger, around town it’s as civilised as stock. 20% more BHP & torques, sir? Yes, please😊

Absolutely agree, also refreshes each car and the longer format is great for background watching plus if you haven’t seen the original series you don’t have to go hopping around YT trying to link up episodes.

The best advice that i learned from Manny Koshbin is don't buy a Super or Hyper car until you have 10 times the price of it in your Bank account, when you purchase a Super car you add a car to your garage but u add also maintenance and unexpected damages that can happen in future

Mat, you are basically making documentaries to the level that you'd see out of a full blown production crew from a major network. I was captivated for the entire 3 hour period. It's crazy to think that they are spending millions to make those films when you are doing this as a 1 or 2 man show. The production value is top notch, please continue to upload compilations like this that take us from start to finish (even if in real time it takes weeks/months!). Thank you!!

As a guy from the Cayman Islands, I most definitely approve of this build! 😂Initially I was like, I’ll watch some and do the rest later but 3 hrs later I was still totally engaged with the video. Great job by Mat and his crew. Love the long format to catch up on all the entire build all at once.

Holy smokes man! What a project! Very inspiring your energy is contagious. I way appreciate the hard work to film this all and edit etc. the labor invested in the build is substantial and the deferred wages or actual wages paid to your friends is considered I’m sure by the end of the video. I’m 3/4 way through watching. Also for my taste no black roof or side mirrors or rear wing. I love the color but I would have done almost EVERYTHING in the awesome yellow color you chose. Black wheels on the yellow could be the bomb…aloha

Because you done such a good job on the tint, you get me as a sub. Not to mention the great build and production quality! I never was a fan of Porsche but man that Franken Cayman turned out freaking beautiful. From the giant wing on its multicolored dented back came a track attack beast with amazing lines and a stance that could make you drool. Hi Mat, the forklift dents on your Camen s were probably done before it went to Copart as they have sponge type buffers fitted to stop metal to metal, plus their forks are wider. Sadly, some recovery yards treat vehicles as write-offs. Keep up the amazing videos.

If it's a reputable body shop they'll fit everything before paint anyway, so you probably saved them some time! Pro tip for keeping that body line: Level out one side of the body line first, in this case I'd do the bottom half first. Then lay a straight line with quality masking tape where the body line should be. Add another layer directly on top of the first. Now you can sand the other side of the body line using the tape as your guide.

Great video and an awesome rebuild! I think it’s faster than the stock car because of the upgraded exhaust system.

Don’t forget, all things being equal, the PDK Cayman S with equal power will be faster than GT4 with a manual transmission. Especially, in a drag race.

Although I’d already watched this all the way through via the playlists. Having it spliced together as 1 video made it seem like a whole new build. What a car, it looks amazing the spoiler and the carbon parts against the yellow just finish it off. I love the fact that it’s a Cayman S a GTS (with the seats) a GT4 and a GT4 RS all rolled into one. The end result is the best of both worlds, a car that is more suitable to the road unlike a GT4 RS but has the looks and presence along with more power than a GT4. Mat as usual you smashed it. Now all you need to do is a 24hr ticket sale and live draw so one of us lucky subscribers can get to enjoy it 😝👍🇬🇧

The car is sick and you done a great job. I've never been a fan of that massive wing so it is a no from me on that part only. 911 turbo S is more my choice but that is a personal preference. Great finish and I absolutely love the colour with the carbon trims

Great video, I enjoyed the beginning to end build on this. Only one or two things I would do is add yellow piping on the seats and yellow stitching work plus the lettering on the headrest in yellow. Outside of that you outdid yourselves.

Loving the vid. With the Porsche bumpers, if they are plastic , you can just use thin aluminium mesh which you can heat in to the bumper with a soldering iron to fix cracks. You need to sand paint off first then plastic weld and fill after

I love this format! I don't love waiting for the next ep. and I always forgot that I watched those videos before. So this is a new experience and I love the documentary style of it mostly like wheeler dealers but x100 better!

The damage looked to me like the driver took a hard 360 degree track excursion into a wall of hay and stanchions. That would explain the roof, rear window and top of the driver side fender damage. FANTASTIC job and wonderful content, as usual!

First off, damn great job. This is a super clean build. With all of the aftermarket parts and custom fabrication, you almost built a 1 off car from a frame and engine. Obviously exaggerating lol. When I saw how much room changing the exhaust made, all I could think of was twin turbo lol. The yellow probably looks much better in person. I do think that is all fits together pretty well from the back, but i think the front, except for the bumper, is very... bland/blank. It could be because of the yellow, or because the gt4 kit, with the black roof and wing, it creates a lot of black accents, but I personally think it would look better with a hood wth the two black scoops on the side. Thats personal preference though, considering if this was me, it would have been a track car and would be a completely different car. Too bad I don't have $50k+ to custom build a car 😂😂😂 I assume it has already been answered, but the whole no brake fluid leaking is using the same concept as putting your finger on one end of a straw and lifting up the liquid until you let your finger off. Can amd most likely leak the fluid from the clamp to the open end over time. But you bleed your brakes anyways so that doesnt matter.

Wow man what a great job and what a great rebuild good job really happy to see it resorted and running again unfortunately you could of saved a lot of money of it wasn’t for copart being so careless with their forklifts and they need to be more careful it actually kind of infuriates me a bit to see they are so careless and they caused easily avoidable damage and costs and I would personality probably take it up with them and make them pay for those damages

For a car rebuilder who sells cars to make a profit there is just no financial gain in a car like this, and most cars you take on. But that is where you have that edge. Even if it ends up over budget in the end, you still made money from the content. happy to see cars lik this getting back on the road because of it. well done MAT.

Awesome! Respect man! My style would be a bit smaller and quite lower rear spoiler. I feel like it brakes the design line too much.

When you cut down panels with the grider you can roll off the strips left, like a beef tin key opener. That is how I do. It the spot welds should snap around the spots welds, then grind the spot welds down. Leaves you not having to chisel so much. There are always tough spots when a chiesl is the only option though.

I think this is one of my favourite cars that you've fixed. This one and the Aston - and the Lamborghini. But this one is lush, and I don't usually care for Porsche. I like how you've put all the episodes into one long film, I could happily sit and watch them.,

So i've literally watched the whole Video and am stopped by the point where you're gonna Dyno Tune it and just wanted to say, CONGRATS, Man!!! What an AMAZING Build! This Car is a MINT with just a few minor quirks here and there. Everything on this little Weapon of a Car was done to a high standard and it shows how much you truly love your cars! You are a TRUE ENTHUSIAST! I come from the same background with cars. My Cousin, Nephew all took after me Lol. We have an R8 and my Cousin just got the Huracan Evo last year, an M8 as a daily... My Nephew just got his Ordered still in wraps brand new SUPRA which I absolutely LOVE! BMW inline six TT and im even debating if I want to get one as well. I might actually go for the Aston Martin Vantage that you also have, So I gotta watch that whole build. Amazing AMG V8 TT motor in it. Cant ever go wrong and it just looks insane. I get get them used here in the States lets say 2020 or 21 with under 10k miles on it for right under $100k. $90-100k in MINT Condition and love the fact that it has Benz drive-train.
