Rendering artists use clay to make those sculpted curves. This wood master is on a different level! Glad his young son is in it too! 😊

they use clay because they are actually designing the car, not copying it. they need to add/remove material to find the final design. not sure they are still using clay though now with all digital design and rapid prototyping tools. but it doesn't remove anything from to the woodworking and car hand building skills. plus it's not a straight copy they have to figure the chassis and body structure
