I have been watching Seawattgamings escape videos to test my minecraft knowledge. I always knew that they are fake but i still watch them so i can pause the video in each room and figure out the most complicated solution to the problem with the given items. Yet the hardest puzzle was when he had to change the version to a snapshot and use a special bug to turn lava into water. But i was still able to guess the solution :) (the snapshot was one of the caves and cliffs part 1 version)

This is why I like Wifies’ escapes more. He sometimes doesn’t finishes puzzles the way they’re intended and you can see him get stuck for long periods of time on certain parts. It just seems much more authentic.

To be fair, about that guard trap it's kind of impossible to know what to do if it WASN'T told to him. Like I'm pretty sure anyone else would go "oh hello sir" and walk past him as he's not really doing anything to stop you. So you NEED to know how to work around it in order for the guard to actually mean anything in the first place. Also some are pretty sus like the boat and chicken trick which is really oddly specific, but most of these are actual legitimate tricks that could be used on your first try, without all that resource management stuff. but funny video regardless

He claims his friend told him about the guard rule I think, but you can easily tell the videos are faked by stuff he does or points out that doesn't make sense, and his tone of voice is wrong. Even before watching this video, I knew they were scripted. And I was watching one of his newer escapes, which are still much better than these.

Hey there ✌️ I’m good friends with seawatt and have helped work on many of his videos including some of these. As you concluded, yes the videos are staged, for entertainment. He doesn’t try to right deny it being fake, but does for the sake of the video give the perspective as someone being trapped in the prison for the first time. The prisons are original creations mostly made to show fun ways to solve challenges using Minecraft knowledge. We are usually aware of some alternative ways to escape, but I can’t deny you did have a lot of funny ways we hadn’t known before hand. 😅 So from a design perspective they are far from perfect, but we will definitely work towards improving them with the feedback here! Overall I think you video was really well made and pretty funny at parts, but a little too harsh for the sake of it at others. I tried out one of the prisons you helped work on and I gotta say you definitley know your stuff, so I can see why you might of found the videos a little troll.

The last prison was so "impossible" that his friend ( probably who made it, I guess ) couldn't escape.

Okay a wood pickaxe fell out of the the sky, it gave me levitation so I could float out of the prison… but instead I smelted it and got 7 pieces of wood from an observer behind the furnace. I then made a bridge to continue to the 31st section

With the wall in the spider room you could literally make a bed then set your spawn point and break the bed to go to spawn
