His English was so bad that it was so difficult to understand what he was singing. So it is not a surprise that he didn't ended high. If you can't speak English don't do it. He should have sang in Ukrainian or took some English lessons.

the lack of Cyprus 2016 azerbaijan 2015 is bothering me other good options that I'm less upset about are: Azerbaijan 2008 (angels and demons) Serbia 2013 (same reason) Finland 2022 (the beginning was 100% an it reference and you can't convince otherwise) Georgia 2019 (dark atmosphere) Poland 2022 (monsters) Finland 2018 (duh) Czech Republic 2009 (superhero costumes are a thing y'know) Poland 2017 (the beginning reminds me of a horror movie) Hungary 2018 (the song is about the end of summer, we're in fall) Austria 2016 (I know this one's not spooky at all but princess costumes are also pretty common so I'd say it works) etc.
