I wouldn't even think about these men teaming up together but this song is not only an incredible masterpiece but also insanely powerful. The video kind of lightens the mood of some serious topics covered, so I do appreciate that. I didn't watch the video the first time I listened and the lyrics hit my soul so deeply it hurt, but not necessarily in a negative way. Watching the video seemed to lighten the punch of the lyrics, which I felt was a nice balance to something so impactful. Thank you for staying independent which enables you to do this type of music and putting in the work to rise to the top the hard way. Absolutely love this video! It's amazing on so many levels! I was a bit late to the game being a fan since I only discovered Tom last Janurary but I've been in love with his music ever since. Every single one of his songs is amazing because you can hear his heart, soul and passion being poured into every single song he does. It's incredibly inspiring. A lot of these country artist play on many of the other hick-hop artist albums. Jawga Boyz and Colt Ford regularly have country legends on their songs. But, Tom is continuing the tradition of creating good country rap crossover that originated with guys like Bubba Soarxxx and has become extremely popular in recent years. At least he isn't just subverting the genre like Lil Nas X did. I didn't se any Yee Yee stuff on Tom's video, so that was a plus. Hopefully Tom does more of this and also helps bring attention to those great artist that have been doing this sound for the past decade+.
