Dude my first (and currently only) play through I did a pacifist run, and when I got to Asgore, I spent so many hours trying not to kill him being like “JUST KEEP GOING!!! PLEASE, I WANT TO SAVE YOU PLEASE!!!” And it took me hours before I decided looking up how to beat him in a pacifist run was probably a good idea. Realizing that you actually need to nearly kill him in order to progress made me almost broken… It was one of the first games I felt like I could impact others for the better. I remember as a little kid playing Infamous with my friend and never wanting to harm another person, while he’d just kill everyone. We did that thing where we took turns playing the game every time one of us dies, but it was his game and I was really bad so I’d constantly die… but I was determined to live long enough to make sure people were safe, aaaand yeah… god it was depressing

This video ended up starting an undertale obsession at my college. It got my husband into the game, and he'd play it during class.

something i would've liked for undertale to actually do is that flowey actually kills you instead of toriel saving you, and then the next time you encounter him he recognizes that you can reset and knows that killing you is pointless. imo this would really tell people that this is a thing the game has and more people would find these small things like turning around before sans ask's you to shake hands, and such.

Most other Youtubers want Undertale to do to them what Undertale is famous for doing, sending you on an emotional journey. Most Youtubers take it seriously. Dunkey neither wants to nor needs to, and his style is way different than most Youtubers, especially of his size and success. I absolutely love this game and I am glad Dunkey made a video on it WITHOUT just looking at the same aspects of the game every other Youtuber has, and he made it in his own style instead.
