I’m 25 years old and my identical twin sister passed away when we were 20. It’s going to be 5 years without her this November. Living without your twin is the hardest suckiest thing ever! Hearing all of the twin quirks in here definitely reminded me of how me and my twin were. I miss her everyday. 💗

I'm not a scientist, but I am an identical twin. I think the shared memories thing comes from the fact that when your twin tells you a story you can easily visualize it from your own first-person perspective because you share so many of the same circumstances, relationships, upbringing, etc. When other people tell you a story, you are more likely to view it from a third person perspective which I guess is stored in your memory in a different way. Tbh I'm not really sure if this is scientifically accurate but it is how I view this phenomenon because I have definitely experienced it.

I've noticed that Vanessa takes things as they come and when something goes wrong she keeps her cool and figures out a way to make it better. Roni on the other hand has something specific in her mind and if something didn't precisely work out, she's quicker to just want to do it all over again. I see it all the time with the arts and crafts videos. When carving the pumkin house or doing the pancake art challenges. Roni "has to do the cooking by the book" where as Venessa adds a bit of this and that but keeps chipping away at that ice block til she gets where she wants to be with it.

Yeah, if you study MBTI typology, their cognitive functions are different. Veronica is very ISFJ (Si-Fe) whereas Vanessa is an ENFP (Ne-Fi). Those are typical thought processes of those two types!

on the other hand, roni seems very confident in herself and embraces her weirdness…she has so many good qualities besides her anxiety. She is hilarious, kind, and caring 💙

Loved the whole video but especially when Roni and Nessa laughed simultaneously at 8:26. They never fail to make me smile but this one in particular is one of my favourites.

The shared memories thing is so fascinating to me. I grew up close to my sibling (not twins tho) and it’s certain memories that he SWEARS happened to him but it’s literally my memory. I wonder if hyperempathy and sharing memories is just a byproduct of having a strong connection with someone, no matter who it is.

I'm the younger twin. I really felt like my sister was kinda the leader and I just followed whatever she did. We were in the same classes until 5th grade, and I never really did my own activities or anything. She was quiet too, but she was willing to be the more outgoing one in most situations. I feel like I used her as the shield for most of my life. When she moved away at 18 (we're 30 now), I felt lost and had to figure out my own identity. I'm also the one that struggles with anxiety and mental health in a way that impacts my life daily, and I'm the one who is very sensitive (to everything) and more in tune with her emotions than she is with mine.

I used to have a friend who was a twin. And it’s not that she hated her twin. It’s that they didn’t have a good bond, cause they would always get compared negatively. Her twin was always the prettier one to people & even her mother.

I definitely have the personalities of Roni and Brooklyn. Perfectionism does come out bossy and I do feel bossy sometimes. And anxiety is a big part of that too. But in some weird way I'm good at being a leader when I have to be. I don't put myself in a leading position but I'm good at it when someone puts me in that position so I wonder if that's the same for you guys..
