If I was a business and someone big or small started praising my product for months and decided to write me asking for compensation for promoting the product you like, me as a business would say hell no. I didn’t ask you to start promoting my product. And just because you did it on your own doesn’t mean you deserve compensation from my business especially if no terms were agreed upon. I suppose it’s your right to say you don’t like them. But if they can prove that you always liked them and now your trashing them because they wouldn’t give you compensation for promoting their product with them having no knowledge of you doing it or Unagreed terms, (especially being as big as you are) they could start sending you legal documents to cease and desist.
