Speaking of The Wonderful World of Disney, that would make a great subject for DefunctTV don't you think?

16:56 Always remember that Disney is, at it's core, greedy and heartless. They don't care about telling stories or creating entertainment that people love. They only care about the money in your wallet, and buying up the franchises that you love so that they can get at that money.

I put off watching this episode until today. I knew I would cry and I didn't want the episodes to end yet. And I did cry. But it was worth it. This was beautiful. Simply beautiful. Thank you.

My Jim Henson death story: My friends and I at the rather adventurous age of 17, enjoyed when not working or in school a good ol acid trip on the weekends. As we had it, at approx. 2 am Jim Henson Muppets, (X3) for two hours was on, then an episode of Fraggle Rock, then Sesame Street into the am. One weekend when we had gone into our trip to come home to a couple of hours of Muppets etc, the morning came when our regular line up was up and broadcasting, at approx. 7am we saw that Jim Henson had died. We were shaken the whole day, and then some. Jim dying so early to us children of everything he did was devastating. I remember all of us breaking down in disbelief. Well done.

I love how his video acts like a Jim Henson Hour. First, it talks about the Jim Henson memorial then it talks about the muppet tribute Then back too JHH then to the memorial than the Disney deal and then it goes back to the muppet tribute. It's just all inconsistent and I love it. Rest In Peace Jim 1936-1990

Everything everyone has already said here is so true, this is an amazing series and an amazing way to finish it off. I just wanted to say that I really appreciated the brass band rendition of “When the Saint Come Marching In”, as a nod to Jim’s funeral wishes

Very few things in my life have ever made me cry, at least very few things in media. I can count on one hand how many times I've cried during movies, and I can count on the other how many times I've cried during any form of video game. But never before has a youtube video made me well up. I made it to the end without crying, then all the puppeteers joined in the song, everyone jumping up to cheer at Jim's legacy... this man was a modern saint, and I think he'd be very proud to see the justice you gave him with this miniseries. I applaud you and the many people that went into making such an amazing piece of entertainment Thank you

I sobbed through most of this. This video is a masterpiece, from the dedication, accuracy, research, editing... I barely have words. I lost it when you changed the drawing of Jim and Kermit from the iconic headband-wearing Jim to older Jim before he passed. This video is one of the most respectful and beautiful things on YouTube. Thank you so, so much for your work.

There will never be another Jim Henson, the man was a character who had character. The master at what he did. Yeah I was 4 years old when he passed but I remember almost all his content. One of my favorites was fragal Rock. What was really funny was watching Boon Dock Saints years later, seeing the bar tender on their and saying holy crap. That’s the guy from that Jim Hanson show 🤣.
