To be fair, those movies came out years ago, 3D animation has come a long way in improvement since then, but yes. The animations are a definite improvement compared to them.

Hype af for this chapter. Really hoping it also includes a re-work of the RPD map. As cool as it is that it's a near perfect replica of the RE map, it makes for a miserable DBD experience if you don't know the layout. I only play Killer, but I've had more than a few games where the survivors give up after doing 2-4 gens because they can't find any more.

I heard that they are splitting it half and redoing it. Each sides or wing will be a map

I really hope you do have wesker say lines from RE5. Like the match starts and the survivors hear “7 minutes. 7 minutes is all I can spare to play with you” and taunts from wesker throughout. Would be so cool to have a killer who actually actively talks and taunts the survivors

And when it goes past 7 minutes the taunts change to things like "now your just wasting my time"

Yeah ! press power button and instead of killer power he will say resident evil 5 references 😁😁

Maybe say 20 minutes instead of 7. And maybe upon entering chase for the first time, rather than game start. Giving away who the killer is so early gives survivors a slight edge, esp. for a mobility/ambush killer.

@Sügma Pinhead's got a mechanic you need to be thinking about immediately to avoid losing the game, though; same with Plague, who also gives herself away very early, and in theory Sadako if Sadako's mechanics actually mattered. If Wesker is implemented the way the leaks say he will (and given everything else has lined up so far there's no reason to believe he won't be), he won't have a mechanic like that.

If the survivor gets down wesker says. "Poor performance, indeed"

I'm realizing that Jack Baker and Lady D would be great killers as well for the game, but I doubt they would do so many characters from the same property. I'm still hoping they'll find a way include Chucky in the game. Not sure if any of it has to do with licensing, or if it literally just is because it would be potentially impossible to make him fit with the mechanics of the game.

This Wesker always looks better to me,and it is the whole reason he is terrifying. Not because he is some giant ass monster but just a regular dude with superpowers,glowing eyes and a pair of sunglasses. This shit is perfect,we don't even need any cosmetics for him. Right now, we should worry about how BHVR gonna do him justice or not,consider Nemesis's gameplay is pretty good with extra zombies on the map,tentacles etc I hope Wesker's gameplay will be awesome too and not just a copy/paste of Nemesis.

Craziest thing about this - aside from the killer being Wesker himself, VOICED no less - is that it seems this Wesker has full control over the Uroboros virus since in RE5 he became a mutated human with tentacle arms, whereas here its like its meshed perfectly with his DNA. Lore-wise this is probably the strongest Wesker has ever been.

Probably this Wesker is not the same Albert Wesker that we know from RE5. Probably he was pulled off from an alternative universe where he was able to bond and control the Uroboros Virus.

Happy to see DBD is still so much alive.

The hardest part of being a survivor. No matter the feats you had, combat experience, fighting monsters and mutants, when you end up in the entity’s realm, you cannot fight no more, let alone escape. Not even find a way to true escape and true freedom. Too sad that these badass characters who were lucky became completely unlucky. Will they find a way to truly escape the entity’s realm? It’s highly unlikely
