oh man, I’m currently binging these and this episode made me realise just how similar to Trisha I am. I relate to her so much and it’s probably why I’ve always liked her and had faith in her. She’s a good egg at heart. Ethan definitely is a pusher and occasionally hypocritical, but it’s clear he’s working on being better and accommodating to Trisha too. It’s a shame Dr Drew didn’t let Ethan talk as much tbh, but he was pretty good at mediating and getting to the point of things quickly and relatively calmly. I don’t usually trust or like online therapist personalities - Katie Morton’s a great example of an unethical one - but this is the first time I’m hearing of Dr Drew and he seems pretty fair.

I found it hard to associate Trishas voice with that costume because it’s SO GOOD 😟

I liked Trisha before i started watching these podcasts but it’s really shown another side of her, n it’s Weird how she expects a apology from Ethan all the time but she will not issue one herself. Like ever lol. No matter how mean and insensitive her outbursts whereS it’s just super not fair the way everybody has to walk on eggshells w her isn’t cool.

Both of these people have been piece of shits, and have gone to the really low depths but it’s so mesmerizing that they’re together and admitting, reflecting on the shit they do. It’s so good. It’s incredibly easy to hate someone one sidedly but this allows me to look deeper than a 2d story if that makes sense

I think Ethan SHOULD and CAN be concerned for Moses. Just like someone (her therapy sessions) are concerned for her. She has a lookout, Moses should too. Not for danger 100%, but for emotional support since he wants to stick to a hard relationship. I wish trish and Moses the best in life, it's what they truly deserve. I've avoided watching this episode for a while because i identify with Trisha quite a bit and i have some of the same issues as her so i thought "oof watching this one might be too *heavy*..." but it was actually really nice and helpful. it is uplifting and inspirational to see how she is working on herself, going to therapy and getting help. makes me wish i had a therapist as well. love you trisha!

40:49 Trish really made me burst into tears here. I have this kind of thing in my family and i see a lot of my family member in Trisha. To see her in pain saying she’s not that person, ugh it’s so painful, the “hurt people hurt people” thing is so freaking true. When someone with BPD hurts you, your reaction is to get upset + angry with them, but then you see they have the “deep pain” of that early trauma and you just feel for them. I was lucky enough not to have experienced that early trauma. You just want to erase that awful thing that happened to the person. It really hits me in the heart. 45:15 kills me “I do feel bad right away.” 😭 thinking of my family member...dude it kills me.

Everyone is saying Trisha is taking accountability, but I don't really see it? Like, she says it was past trisha on drugs, that the audience back-lash that made her going farther, or that she doesn't know why she acted a certain way because it's not her. But it is her, at least its how she has shown herself A L0T on camera, and it was definitely her in the moment. I absolutely respect that she is being honest about her mental health and going to therapy, but it still doesn't feel like accountability. "Apologies without change is just manipulation". She didn't mention any of the DissociaDID attack, which was the most horrific part of everything she's done imo. I am just having such a hard time believing her apology when this is just a part of the same cycle she's been in her entire youtube career.

she needs to do a series with dr ramani, she knows how to differentiate between these kinds of disorders. i was able to dx myself through watching medcircle which was validated and dx by a psychologist later that year.

Dr. Drew is really good! I have had my share of good and bad therapists. I will be looking for more from him.
