When the senator asked “Do you know where these people are?” And Mayorkas said yes, that is a lie. I work for the Border Patrol. Unless these two men are encountered again, the agency will have no idea where they are. I work in one of the northern states, and I see illegals who came over in Texas or Arizona or California EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. Not a single one of them residing at the location listed in their records. Absolute chaos.

I live in rural Utah in a town of about 10k people… over the past two years or so we have seen a huge influx of non English speaking migrants flood into our town. There are no homes to rent, our streets are packed full of vehicles and crime is skyrocketing… makes a lot of us small town folks wonder why on earth they’re coming here. There aren’t many jobs… it’s an oil field town and with the current administration’s war on oil, work in the fields is scarce… I’m in construction and it seems as though that’s what all of them are doing. It’s bad for small business owners like me who are just trying to get by on what work is available. We are getting under-bid constantly.

@Chase Blood Get on a network of national contractors and find out where those workers are needed. You don't have to do that by yourself, but it is a good, productive job to deal with immigrants looking for work. The wouldn't overwhelm small towns or anywhere the aren't needed.

As someone who has attended high level executive meetings for for-profit private corporations, if someone like Mayorkas attended the meeting and either refused to answer, or stonewalled, or made long rambling non-answers to questions, he or she would be walked out of the meeting, taken to their office, made to immediately pack, and would be promptly walked out of the building, without security ever leaving their side the entire time.

My wife and I are from Yuma, a small town more or less as the gentleman in the video stated. One of my wife’s childhood friends who still lives there said sometime in the past 6-12 months her daughter was followed by a van and the guys in the van started talking to her in Spanish while following and kept urging her to go with them in their van. A nice rural area in this small town. We’ve never experience anything like that so close to home. Can’t imagine what is going on down there that we don’t hear about or see..
