It’s YouTube that is causing that banding. The downloaded files don’t have banding. This was all shot and edited in 10bit color.

You are not seeing this in true 8k unless your viewing device can handle 8k which 98% Chance your device only handles the max of 4k if that, because 8k technology equipment isn't fully available to consumers yet.

@Kazus this. There’s a clear story being told in HAE with direction and purpose. Iv watched Enchanted multiple times from different angles and it always feels less like a story and more like a random mashup of music and scenery followed by questionably timed fireworks. No clear direction. It just throws what it has hoping something sticks. It missed the mark for me and I consider it a poor successor.

Totally disagree. Enchantment is an amazing show. It’s a different format to this, just like wishes is, but the soundtrack, the visual effects are far superior on enchantment in my opinion, I honestly don’t get what all the hate is for enchantment lol. Me personally think happy ever after is obviously an amazing show also, but enchantment is fantastic and near perfection in my opinion, well done Disney!

This is the best Disney fireworks video anywhere. Actually better than seeing it in person. I noticed more details that I just couldn’t see live. The colors are beautiful. A Disney level production. You see almost everyone in the crowd trying to film on their phones. My best advice would be to put your phone away and enjoy the moment then relive the experience through this video.

Anytime I need a pick me up, I come back to this video and song! Truly a sensational show that is dearly missed! Here’s to hoping it will be brought back. I was here at Disney in September, and I teared up. I was a little boy again. Every single part of my childhood came rushing back into me. Thank you Disneyworld for the memories and the many more soon to come!

Wow!!! Cliff, this is SUPERB! I’ve seen many recordings of Happily Ever After but they just don’t seem to capture the magic of what it’s actually like when watching it live at the Magic Kingdom, but your recording is first class. The multiple angles and picture quality are fantastic, and the sound is outstanding, I listened to it through headphones and it was the next best thing to being there watching and listening to it live, very impressive. I’ll miss Happily Ever After, it’s an amazing show! Thanks for sharing this, you’ve done a fantastic job 👍🏼

I’m not sure I can even handle watching this entire thing right now, but this is astounding. I miss Happily Ever After so much already, and this is the only video I’ve found that actually feels like I’m there again. Seeing it 4 times this summer just wasn’t enough.

I’m balling my eyes out. I miss this show. I was there for the last night. This video captured the emotion of Happily Ever After perfectly. They say that there’s nothing like watching it in person, and I agree. But this video made me feel like I was there. If Disney is going to do anything right in the parks, I sincerely hope with every last fiber of my being that Enchantment is just for the 50th (not that Enchantment is a 50th-styled show……..) and that they bring back HEA soon after.

Thank you for making this! This is a truly remarkable recording of the show, not to mention the sound quality is absolutely mind boggling! How you were able to get such good audio is breathtaking. I was once a Cast Member at Magic Kingdom, and almost every night shift I worked I would passionately watch Wishes and Happily Ever After. I've seen many streams and recordings of the show on Youtube, but none have been able to recapture the memories or emotions like your video has. This is truly the best video of the Happily Ever After fireworks show I have ever seen. I haven't happy cried like this since my last day of working on Main Street. Every time I watch this I cry like a baby, never had the opportunity to see this in person, when I went to disney for first time the fireworks were not back yet, then when I could go again HEA was gone but I always had a special love for this show, it makes me laugh & cry at the same time. Since disney deleted theirs this is the closest version I have to connect me with that magic✨, I watched enchantment a few times already but is not even close for what HEA makes me feel!😭

I remember watching this back when they first started it and I felt like this seemed to take a fair bit of inspiration from Disney Dreams show at Disneyland Paris. HEA is my favorite fireworks show and I watch it on a regular basis, but this one just blows all the other videos away as far as quality! Wow this was AMAZING! Like everyone else said, you notice so many more details I’ve never noticed before. Truly breathtaking and so sad considering we won’t be able to enjoy a show like this now.

I'm so grateful for this. We used "Happily Ever After" as our wedding recessional song last September and Disney has since taken down their official video. Your version may be even better including the shots from the Contemporary which I've also been lucky enough to see in person. If I can figure out how to save this permanently I'd like to include it on the flash drive with all of our wedding photos and DJ playlist.
