I have a son who struggles with so much doubt of himself despite of my encouragement and challenge, Cassandra you are an inspiration. That is on top of your massive talent. Beyond her amazing voice, there were so many little things in her performance that make her so captivating, even more so that she thinks she was messing up or too nervous - the little laugh after Luke's farm comment, the way she shook her nervousness out her arms after the first line of the song, the way she started to smile at Lionel when she says she messed up (tho no one but her noticed any mistake), asking 'is that OK?' at the end of her song, the way she responded with glee to Katy's sneaky 'I didn't like it ... I loved it' comment, the way she replied 'play us a song ... on the piano? Oh dang!' when Lionel asked her for another song, the squeal she released upon hearing 'you're going to Hollywood!' and, finally, accidentally taking 2 golden tickets and then debating what to do with the extra one. It was such a perfect audition. Can't wait to see how far she goes on the show.
