To double the efficiency of the bellows I would suggest splitting it does two separate parts and isolating via a piece of acrylic or MDF in the middle which were oh wow it to do twice as much work especially if you have them running opposite polarity just a thought would like to know your thoughts on it

well if your target is 80c, or even 90c at max load, then you can reduce the size of this thing quite a bit. One thing contributing to great cooling capabilities is the amount of space around the computer components. In an average case there's barely any room, but here there's tons. You could reduce this down quite a bit I think and still get impressive results, especially if you play with lighter and less conductive materials, or bigger heat sinks. Also what about a hybrid that does include some ultra quiet fans... I think this way this thing could become quite tiny and you could even have the panel at the bottom move way faster. The case doesn't have to be made of such thick wood either, there are far lighter and thinner components out there. Anyway, just some things to think about. Very cool idea and very impressive achievement! I would like to know how much it costs to run though... water pumps seem more power hungry than fans to me.

Some of the closeups of the old acrylic tube after having broken almost looks like they've been scored a bit. I wouldn't be surprised if that contributed to its failure. It also appeared that it happened at a tube's end, maybe the water pressure is higher at the ends as the bellows changes direction.

Vor 7 Tage

What? Not at all. Ryzen processors gain very little from manual overclocking compared to its own Precision Boost and modern GPU's boost clock are close to maxing out the frequency, often banging up against the power limit. Only way you are going to get any meaningful performance gain with manual overclocking over the automatic ones these days, is doing extreme overclocking with exotic parts. Lot's of builders have said this for a while now; manual overclocking gives you little to nothing on modern hardware with the risk of unneecessary heat from pushing the voltage. In terms of the temps on this build with a very modest pump and a single 360 (or 420, can't quite make out the size) radiator, they aren't bad at all. You might get a couple of degrees from switching to 3 high RPM fans but that's about it. He tested the bellows up against 4x140 Noctua fans and saw similar results - you would only be able to mount 3 (if this is a 420 radiator). These temps are most definitely not SUPER high or really high. Ultimately this was also never a question of "is it better?" but rather "can it be done?". The sheer size and impractiality alone pretty much eliminates it from ever being "better" than fans.

I think the reason it's so efficient is because the high air pressure is maintained throughout the system. There's no chance for the air to back up or create internal turbulence, like you sometimes see with fans, because all the air is literally pushed through with brute force with no chance of hot air circulating in the system.
