New comment on a 2 year old video, but I'm surprised your vet didn't suggest giving her some sort of mild depressant. It may have helped her be more calm and saved you from getting scratched up. I say this because my vet has suggested that I give my cat Indy a mild depressant the day before I bring him in, or a few hours before. He's never hurt me at the vet or during transport, but he did scratch a vet tech or 2 last time, so they trimmed his nails. I couldn't say I'm sorry enough. On a more funny note, I bet playing Monopoly with Zeke would be about as much fun as if you were playing it with Michael lol

I'm a cat breeder I know how this feels

My aunt had a dog who ate his own, and all the other pets, turds constantly. My aunt would come over like, "I think my dog is constipated" regularly. Come to find out, he's eating the shit out of the yard before my aunt gets the chance to pick it up. So one week, my aunt has my dad watch the dog while she and the rest of my family visit Chicago. Most of my mom's side of the family lives there. Anyway, my dad does this experiment while he's home alone babysitting my aunt's dog. Every time the dog takes a shit, my dad calls him in real quick. Works good for the first days. A few days in, my aunt's dog gets wise to the trick. So when my dad lets him out one day, the dog shits. Naturally, my dad calls the dog inside immediately once he lifts his rump from dumpin. The dog hears the call, turns to look my dad in the eyes, and then turns around and eats his own shit real quick before my dad can come get him. Smart dog

Kitty cat toenail trimming is a thing- we do ours every week or two... Also, leave kitty crate out for a week before a ride- make it not scary and new- Our cats play in the carrier and ride to vets with no drama.

Lived with 3 of my friends for awhile one bought a girl cat named her Gronk after the football player, why who knows. That's pretty funny cause my mom's name is Tiffany Also, funny story about our dog getting fixed, we couldn't. He was allergic to the anesthesia and almost died and had to get CPR done on him so that was just fucking great. Long story short, he's older now and still acts like a month old.
