Some 20 years ago, I challenged my (then girlfriend - now wife of 16 years) grandpa to an arm wrestling match. I thought I'd make it close and let him win or something...make it interesting. He used to work for a train/rail company. What I thought would be a friendly arm wrestling match turned out much quicker than I expected. There was no real challenge at all. He destroyed me.

The tension im getting from watching this made feel like i want to go to the gym good job everyone 😂

Arm wrestling really makes you appreciate sport specificity. I was a bodybuilder with a 320 bench, and I broke my arm (stress fractures) in a losting effort against an arm wrestler. I still looked better though!

What's insane is that they kept doing this for the whole day. Every successive win was won at a more exhausted state than before, versus fresh arms.

Everybody being interested in the sport should recognize him immediately.

You should probably let the contestants know first that if they want they are allowed lunge their 150-200 pound body to the side before they go up there. Typically people won’t consider that allowed and definitely gives an advantage as to just staying still.
