@@HVNI it can't be used as a straightforward measurement since the machine is on a hinge which isn't the same for everyone. The machine also depends on the users body weight as well as position while seated. Next time you use it just see how different sitting towards the weights vs sitting near the fulcrum. Its a world of a difference and hurts just as good either way. Free weights and standing calf raise machines are the only realistic method of comparing calf strength.

It's got nothing to do with stability and everything to do with the fact that fat people develop strong legs because they carry themselves around all day. with the calf machine you gain a huge mechanical advantage by scooting a bit forward, less on the ball of the foot closer to the arch and the load is closer to the hips shortening the levers essentially, could effect the load by up to around 50 percent

You should share more of your knee problems and how you deal with it after the 100 000 step challenge. I think a lot of people can relate to it

If I'm counting regulary, on the leg press they lift about 7 plates by each side which is 14 plates, let's assume those are 20kg (45lbs), so it should be 280 kg. Probably the machine weights about 50-70 kg, so it around 350kg. My PR is 505kg (8 reps), so probably I would've beat Will on that exercise 😂
