You know? Thats a good move to interrupt the fast break, one team can slow down the other team until they can stablelize their team again, I noticed when a fast break brings results, it also motivate the players to use the others team desorder to take advantage of them.and it works very well.

first 2 quaters Turkey play quite ok defensively , late game was always the prob for all teams that faces USA, they cant hold on to their strength. All teams eventually lose on 3rd quater from what I see

I've watched so many Olympic/World Championship games and the international officials and media (including announcers) are clueless about basketball. I'm sorry, I don't want to be the asshole but come on. You're putting these guys on the big stage who can't keep up with or understand real professional basketball. Yes, they're correct in this video that USA was playing sloppy and careless for the first half. And we know they only do that because it's easier and they know they can get away with it. But on so many circumstances, the announcers don't see the details in the game and make such blatantly incorrect statements. Also, these refs miss so much shit. That foul they called on Faried for him holding, the refs didn't see the clear motion of the Turkish player where he grasped Faried's arm so he couldn't move it? That's a foul on Turkey. That's one of many circumstances where I've seen the officials unable to catch the little tricks players use to try to draw fouls, or just can't keep up with the speed or complexity of the game the USA plays with. Oh well, we can have refs that can't keep up with our game and half ass it against these teams and still win every championship.
