But it is a fact that the stan fanbases will easily inflate the streams numbers by just clicking a button in Spotify and played the same song over and over. There are articles about it. Look at BTS. Another artist inflated by the streaming. Actually, now that I mention them, BTS must be the #1 artist in the planet too since 2020 going for the same metric. They have sell more records and chart better than Bunny in the USA and Europe. I would like to see what the Benito stans will say about this.

And yeah, I too agree that PR is the main powerhouse in Latin music right now and has been for a while. Before the 2000s it used to be Mexico and way before Fildel Cuba. Colombia is catching up and at one point I really thought they were about to displace Puerto Rico as the #1 powerhouse. But the BadBunnymania is still going on. I still don't see it. J. Balvin and Maluma already peaked. Anyways, It looks like the Latin scene is changing. I think reggaeton pop is starting to die out.
