Wait until Chris said something I never knew people don't wash their rice?? Is that not a thing people do?? I wash my rice at least three times and then as SOON as it's done in the rice cooker I gratuitously fluff it with a rice spoon for at least 5 minutes and leave it uncovered for a while. I have a friend who was a cook in the army, and he told me that the only thing that wasn’t 100% salvageable was when he added a kilogram of vanillin (synthetic vanilla flavor) to a meat stew. It tastes vanilla in small small doses, but when you add enough of it you get this really synthetic pine flavor that’s almost impossible to mask.

Stale bagels make bagel chips. 1. Cut up stale bagels into slices. 2. Brush with buttor or olive oil. 3. Season with salt, dried minced onion/garlic, and or seasoning of choice. 4. Bake at 350 for about 15 min, turning halfway through. 5. Enjoy with artichoke dip or cream cheese based bagel dip. 🥯

Indian food is really popular in England and it usually comes with a cucumber and yoghurt dip which is nice and cooling if the food is too spicy plus it tastes really good with Indian or Greek foods. I love a bit of acidic yoghurty type of thing with any rich spicy foods. It brightens the flavour and tempers the spice.

food too spicy or too much salt :- cut few potatoes and add them to the food and remove the potato once the dish is cooked... removes the spiciness ... just cut potatoes into big pieces so that you can remove them easily
