The river raids where a disappointment it took me 1 day to finish and get all the items. The festival was so broken I couldn't get everything it could have been fun but it was to broken it felt more like a chore to get through. If new game plus was in and not broken it would drastically increase the replay of valhalla. As then we can replay the game with different armor sets, different weapon combinations and Ability sets. I really hope the next session will do more and better executed and the dlc gives something to do lone term or valhalla will fall before the next game comes out.

Hey JorRaptor---I learned from a friend on Twitter that the bug allowing for unlimited runes in Lundun somehow got unfixed. Well I can't confirm it for sure. Because I looked around Lundun and couldn't find a beggar to test it on. But if this is true it would make for a cool video. Maybe you'll have better luck finding this out than I did.

Coronavirus put a lot of restrictions on content. Much was done from HOME. Then they had to send it all to the Main Server and combine it all.

They need to fix the game before dlcs and extra content.... Have been stuck on Brewing Storm for 2 days now....

If I paid for content version of the game I’d be so upset ngl

The thing about this game that i don't like is that it doesn't feel like a viking game. It doesn't have that viking atmosphere. Mount and blade viking conquest had a more authentic viking atmosphere than this game. It felt like nothing. Just another action rpg with no substance. Nothing I'll remember in a few years from now.

I truly think they need to wind down make the map much smaller go back to the original roots and start the foundation over again it's not about just always building off from what you have but going back to the fundamentals and crafting your skill and this team needs to go back and bring back that assassins Creed life

I really think that river raids should be updated to provide reskins for current existing armours. Every since they released a helix store reskin for the hidden ones armour, i've been thinking that I wish they'd just make free reskins. I like the St. george's armour more than the thegns armour and I don't care if it's a reskin because it's free. If they want the river raids to be truly replayable, they should at least make 1 new reskin for each armour that you can unlock with river raids.

I'm not going to saying it was better but Odyssey was far more fun to play than valhalla. And significantly more re-playable. Like you I spent most of my time in valhalla missing things from Odyssey. Montreal failed this game severely and I know the pandemic and female harassment played a role but it just makes me depressed. I want to play it more but there's no reason to, and it's not fun enough to play just to play.

I wish someone could get a very simple idea through to Ubisoft. Let us trade foreign supplies for raw materials and supplies so we could keep buffing the feast buff. Then at least there's a reason to keep grinding river raids after you've gotten everything. But mainly I just wish there was a never ending plague of weapon and gear bearing mercenaries or zealots in the game hunting me. Man I miss that so much.

The storyline was easily the worst in the franchise. The raids and missions are very boring and repetitive. They will no longer be stealing my money. I am no longer an AC customer. I’ve been on a boycott from madden and 2k for 2 years now and now AC.

You forgot to talk about, they are scamming the player with false tooltip of items that boost attack, but in reality attack bonus never goes higher than +30 so items that give more then 30 are not fully working OR skills + items that go over 30 are also not fully working. Talk about deceitful.

I just "finished" the game (all missions done, still have maybe half the map indicators left). 117 hours. Took me this long because of some progress blocking bugs I needed fixes on. Most of the game was fun, but holy crap was this game unnecessarily grindy. I have to say, I'm not crazy about the idea that you could get that far into the game and find out you didn't get the "good" ending, necessitating another play through. I think we need a better balance between value for your money, and long for it's own sake. I could have gotten half the content and have been very satisfied. If it hadn't been wanting to get Mjolnir, I might not have bothered finishing it. The craziest part, though, was not realizing I had gotten the first ending, or even the second ending. It's like Ubisoft decided if we never roll credits, they'll just keep playing forever, right? I haven't bothered with the river raids yet. I don't see any reason to bother. What do I get for my time investment? What can I DO with what I get?

After 150 hrs i finally 100% the game i can say that was one of the best games i ever played, it was exacly how i felt when i played rdr 2

I like Valhalla but I don't love it. I can't quite put my finger on it but there just seems to be something missing. The storyline of the main quests seems to fall flat. It doesn't evoke a strong emotion that makes me rally behind the character. With Bayek's & Cassandra's stories I fell in love with their life mission and passionately completed each portion of the quests. With Valhalla I find myself just kind of going through the motions of the game and becoming bored after an hour of playing. Usually I would've completed the game by now but I just can't quite get into it enough to do so. Hopefully future updates and DLC's will reignite that flame that made me love the AC games.

The main story was garbage. Alliances were pointless busy work. The took an interesting time in history and gave us a dull narrative. Modern day story was good... but who cares. But I enjoyed gameplay a lot

Honestly, I went back to play Odyssey after 30hrs of Valhalla (I ended up uninstalling it too)

I thought Odyssey was like the peak for assassin's creed for me. More so the UI and loadout sections they were just perfect especially the add on chapters. Just seemless imo

Not even remotely. The new games peaked with Odyssey and went 10 steps back with Valhalla in many ways.

It's time to tell Ubisoft we've had it with their garbage. We forgave them for Origins. We looked the other way for Odyssey. And then they deliver a steaming turd full of glitches in the main game play with no intention of fixing them and then continued glitches with DLC. This game should be the straw that broke the camel's back. Let's band together and tell them we've had it. We wouldn't accept this quality from a physical object why should we tolerate this from a video game?

-yule festival, i wouldnt call an update so much as an in game event. -the only real content update has been the river raids which, while i appreciate it for what it is, is underwhelming. raids in general are underwhelming and I wish they felt more intense like the conquest fort battles. adding mini bosses would help, but ffs dont let the jomsvikings get involved! its a real boner killer watching my unit of a lieutenant 2 shot the boss. -I actually really enjoy the daily quests and id like to see some kind of similar dynamic quest system and world events so things can happen to you as you free roam, i think it would really bring the world alive. -regular store armours are nice but im not huge on the fantasy asthetic they keep pushing, i much prefer more realistic looking stuff. i actually think the st george set looks awesome at superior rarity. -SHORT SWORDS. actually more weapon varients in general. im bored of seeing the same attack animations over and over. -yes bring back zealots like odysseys mercs. -where the heck is this transmog? i want to upgrade my gear without looking like a pimp after.

10 months ago when the trailer came out I was so so excited but the total game I wouldn't say it's underwhelming but I miss something. Like the fights between vikings in Norway. it would have been cool to if they added season updates so some weeks snowey the other weeks spring and summer. Also they could have added some things from the vikings show but maybe they get copyright claims and a mad community cause its not original enough. The story line is just copy and paste and it feels like you are doing the same thing over and over again. I hope they really drop a bombshell on us with Paris dlc and the Ireland dlc

am I the only one who would like to see the next assassins creed game throw us back to the first ac? maybe not even playing as altair but that time period and apart of that brotherhood. with the capability of games now being able to go to Jerusalem or Damascus without loading screens and the cities themselves being bigger and more lively would be amazing. just a thought but personally I would love this.

Assassin's Creed is one of my favorite franchises but I don't know what it is with valhalla, I was excited for the viking theme but it just got so boring so quick. I feel like I have to make myself play it. I still haven't beat it and I had it since day 1

You missed a month it came out on the 9th Nov were that isn't 4 months, and its still shite, biggest fuckup since Unity and they gave a free game for that utter debacle, what the hell have they done for this other than try updates which make it worse, they are a joke a need telling from people like you, but that won't ever happen . Game after game they have released are broke on release, and they can't rush fast enough to introduce MTA and content creators saying "ooohh limited time for this or that skin " which makes the sheep rush and buy the crap, a game which has more skins and armour to buy for ingame money is an utter JOKE . Again there are very few who actually speak the truth and call them out for being money orientated broken content makers, the sooner people realise this and stop funding their shite maybe we will get better games that work from their release unlike this festering turd of a game

Constant blue screens of death on ps4 Also when you have a raid but go in by yourself with out calling a raid, if you kill all the bad guys in the location you can not call a raid to open the chests. Absolutely agree with more zealot style characters to fight with armor sets like a zealot armor set or something like that.

Im Lvl 220 and Im alredy Bored

I've finished the main game but only on 95% as I can't be bothered doing everything. I've still got to do the river raids as quite frankly the it was just a bore job of rinse and repeat. When the DLC's are released I'll just play through them as I'm not interested in owning every item the game has to offer. I'm on level 408 so far which should comfortably see me through the DLC's and all the armor and weapons I like using are fully upgraded. Just hope the DLC's aren't another bug fest. As well as splashing out for the ultimate edition I spent well over 800€ upgrading my PC so I could play all the new games on ultimate settings and the ACV game has made me question that decision, so far I'd give it a 7/10 and say to Ubisoft they need to up their game. I've just purchased Immortals phoenix Rising and I'm probably looking more forward to playing that than grinding my way through the river raids.

This game was a fkn $$$$$ grab and they know it all the while contibuting 1.000.000.000 to BLM which destoyed American black city's and Ubi bailed people out to do it again tomorrow, they should jump off they sjw train and fix this bugged shit of a broken game

Fuck Ubisoft, Valhalla charged me higher than Odyssey and yet their post launch content are far lesser than Odyssey. At first, I wanna give chance to them since it is pandemic and it would be understandable that the game may faced delay for post launch content. But no, every time I got update for this game is more character packs and armor sets behind paywall, and the amount or armor sets can even rival with the amount of armor sets in base game. And when we thought we might get something better during Yule Festival and River Raid, it is just a fucking reskin armor sets based from the base game with lazy design. Even AC Odyssey has more unique design of armor sets compared to Valhalla, we even got Ezio's fucking outfit and his sword!! Compared to Watch Dogs Legion, it seems Ubisoft Montreal has no reason to use pandemic as an excuse since they are busy updating their microtransactions, instead of giving more free content and missions which can bring players back to the game.

Fortunately I bought the game couple of days ago. Still in Norway trying to collect everything. I don't know if it's necessary or not but it's still fun.

As much as I don't like Odyessey as an Assassin's Creed game, it did have alot of content and no bugs. I really just want Ubisoft to fix the bugs and give us new game plus. As cool as the customization was in Odyessey, I doubt we're getting that for Valhalla. They should do the fans a favor, fix the bugs and give us new game +. That's all I want from Valhalla

I never thought a game would continuously drive me back to Cyberpunk 2077 as much as the Broken AC Valhalla

They need to implement replaying story mission. The biggest parts of the game for me was seeing the Yggdrasil and going to Vinland, interacting with Connors ancestors, seeing the Grand Temple and the Crystal Ball. All this Isu related stuff comes so damn late in the game that I don’t even bother replaying the story again just to experience acouple story mission. They had Replays in the older games, why the hell did they take the feature out?

I definitely won't be buying the wrath of the druids spent enough on bugs and glitches I think Ubisoft will have to do something special for me to even think about buying any more Ubisoft games.

Don’t say that we’re crying when we say that we’re disappointed with getting free armor sets that are re-skins of previous armor sets and they put all of the unique ones behind an overpriced paywall. It’s bad enough you don’t like how Ubisoft is putting all of these armor sets in the helix store and then you advertise each one. In all honestly, as much as I do love Valhalla overall, it sometimes just doesn't even feel like it was made by the studio that gave us Origins. Some of the choices just seem ridiculous and I expected better.

Jor, you worried me for a second lol, I thought you had early access to the first DLC and it was disappointing. Yeah, I honestly think the Lost Tales of Greece were better. Sure, they're not replayable, but they were just fun in my opinion. And the mini-games in Valhalla are decent but unless it's a repeatable option, it's just kind of pointless. Especially when they rewards are...not good. I just feel like we had a lot more to do in Odyssey after launch. Plus it doesn't help that the river raid rewards are not even unique; when they give us barely any in-game outfits or weapons, failing to deliver something wonderful is disappointing. My favourite outfits and weapons are from the Curse of the Pharaohs DLC, and some of the stuff in the Odyssey DLCs are great too, but I'm already suspicious that whatever we get in Valhalla will be lackluster.
