I've put about 18 hours in this game and I really like the game. It's not an Assassin's creed game. Just a Viking era game with some AC lore.

I'll buy it for fraction of the cost when all dlc is released. Ubisoft over price their games which are always poorly developed.

Okay so i bought this on ps4 recently because it was on sale and so far in 20 hours in i give it a 8/10 i do recommend a playthrough if you havent played it and like he said if you love vikings this is for you the character development is amazing even if it is subtle it is grand probobly because the guy who wrote the script also wrote black flag... enjoy!

You should have acknowledged things like how well optimised it is (for an ubisoft game its amazing that you dont need a minimum of 24 threads to run properly) or how well the animations are done outside combat and specially on cutscenes....😷

It's a good game if you like grinding but i personally hate the anti christian ideas in the assassin creed games, it's way too pagan, my personal opinion.

@Dominator X I just know there’s a lot of problems with assassin‘s creed Valhalla, you can look at the reviews on the Xbox series X itself, many people are complaining about the same issues, screen tearing, frame rate drops, game was not finished

I got it, and it’s great but it’s a shame that it gets kinda boring once you have completed the started missions. The only things you can do is pledge territory’s. That’s fun, but it kinda repeats itself. Good graphics and combat though, would definitely recommend. 8.5/10. Also the legendary animals are sick, but don’t rush them or look up their locations because than you kinda ruined the surprise My favorite part is where the boy sold a Yule goat to Eivor and showed it to his sisters grave and talked about how he misses her and how she told him to keep selling the goats. Really hit me

i feel like that the assassin's creed games have been actually terrible as far as combat and smooth flowing combat since black flag. i feel that Valhalla was there chance to bring back the old combat system. from the original game's. witch i feel would have taken this game OVER THE TOP ! i loved the original games so much. i even made it a point to play the from the first Assassin's Creed all the way threw black flag without taken 1 single point of damage. if i took damage i would restart the game. BUT i did make it threw them all with taking no damage , because the combat was so smooth and amazing. i feel that this series has lost a lot of its luster since they revamped/ or should i say destroyed the combat style of these games. hopefully Ubisoft will do a original combat revert in the next one. though the newer games do have good story. I feel they have dropped the ball .
