Today I use a small metal sieve to create a beautiful pouring result! And in the end, I will coat everything with epoxy resin to create a glass-like surface.

    You need:

    🔴BOESNER Acrylic paint: bit.ly/BOESNER_SCENE_ACRYLIC_...
⏩ And you can find my color mixing recipe on:

🟢 something to cover: You can take a cardboard box or plastic box and place it directly over the epoxy-coated canvas so that air doesn't get through it. This will prevent dust particles from settling on the surface of the canvas while the epoxy resin dries.
I use a shelf for this, which I have equipped with removable foil walls. Here you can see how it looks for me: bit.ly/epoxy_shelf

Absolutely wonderful! I was using the same sieve the other day to strain some lumps out of my paint, and thought "I wonder if I could use this for painting?" Now I know, and can't wait to do it! And thank you so much for the epoxy calculator! 💜

Absolutely gorgeous!! Im over here imagining that piece being done in peacock feather colors...❤️❤️❤️❤️. Love that glass epoxy finish and the technique u did using the mesh strainer was really cool and new to me as I have never seen the mesh strainer used yet. Just wish that epoxy resin stuff wasn't so damn expensive!! Any suggestions on where to order the epoxy resin from that I can get the most for my buck or the best value??

Hi Vera, that's a great idea with the tiles😁👍 are your tiles SHINE or MATT? Does the paint hold well? How many days does paint on tiles need to dry and how long the resin? As what do you use your tiles? Because they'ar surely heavier than a canvas. I know its a lot am asking but please help, I'd love to try on tiles too😁 please reply. Regards Joy

I loved the results. And have a question. My Dad was a tile setter my whole life. And he passed away almost 5 years ago. And I have a box’s of unused tiles he had leftover from all the years he worked. I have all verities of tiles. I’ve been confused what to do with them. Is that the type you used. Does the glaze matter? Thank You for any and all help.

Vor year

Vor year

John Franklin Art

Hi Mary! I have only used this glazed type of tile for pouring so far. In general, however, acrylic paint adheres very well to almost all surfaces. I therefore assume that it does not matter whether the tiles are glazed or not. Then all the best with your tiles from your father! Best regards, John
